Yay finally got ace tanker with valentine.  Not a single shell of gold ammo used.  2 pounder gun.

So guys what is your favourite tank you have ace tanker in?

Ah nice. Some Ace badges come unexpectedly and after only a few battles, some come quite often, but when you finally get it on a tank you play a lot it always feels extra special.

I occasionally buy back vehicles I played a long time ago and never Aced, and recently I finally managed to Ace the KV-1. It "only" took me 151 battles in total on that tank. :veryhappy:

I've got quite a few Ace tankers, so it is a bit hard to say. I can say getting one on comet was surprisinly hard for some reason. I think I was pretty close many times but no dice.

I don't think I have even used premium rounds to get ace tanker, but I do tend to play tanks untill I get them before moving on. Though I usually get them before I elite vehicles. Last one that required some extra playing was KV-4.

Currently looking for one in T21 (elited) and Aufklärungs panther (almost elite).

6 kills for me on Windstorm. Was nice to have a memorable battle on the new map. Linkie if you're interested.

Watched your replay, nice game.

There's a few friendly pointers I'd like to give you though if you don't mind. First, when driving and looking around, hold RMB to lock your gun and turret in place. You occasionally advance with the side of your turret pointing straight to where you can expect enemy tanks, which is never a good idea.

Second, auto-aim may work for you now, but on higher tiers it's likely going to send your shots straight into the thickest parts of a tank's armour. I don't know if you always use auto-aim or if it was just in this battle where your gun can penetrate any tank anywhere, but I'd recommend using manual aim.

And lastly, near the end of the battle you switch fire from the Birch gun to shoot the M3 Light. Since the M3 was AFK and the Birch gun reloads pretty quickly it would've been a wiser choice to finish off the Birch gun first, as he was actually still a threat unlike the M3 Light.

I might be wrong, but I think it's better when you hit weakspots with derp guns too. You are doing more damage when you hit weaker armor.

RMB means Right Mouse Button I guess.

I know but when they are far away.

When the enemy are close i use manual aim regardless of tier

Already has there was at8 and helcat. I killed hell-cat then Hummel killed me and the 3 reaming kv1's could not kill the at8 lol. I was in arl 44 with 90mm gun.

Well there you go.

If it helps, try to think of yourself as the epitome of all things British regardless of which tank you're driving at the time, and put the survival and victory of this concept above all else. :blinky:

Yes. What is worst is when i am against the Brits in confrontation.  but i say to myself if they cant kill me then they are not worthy to drive a British tank.

Congratulations. :-)

My favourite ace mastery is the one I got on the Tiger I. It is one of my favourite tanks and it is also the tank that made me work the hardest to get one. Even the Tiger II required less base xp to get an ace on it.

My best Ace Tanker has to be a game in my M10 Wolverine of which I acquired a Radley-Walters and basically carried a defeat into a victory with the assistance of an M4 Sherman (mostly stock, from what I can tell) on my team. I didn't credit him enough during the game itself (I even insulted him at one point, kinda; I called him out in my platoon chat with a friend for holding his shots to secure kills for himself). I've probably had a few "better" ones, but it's the only one I really have recorded and saved as a replay.
