Hint for coloured skins said:

White - ammunition rack (possibility of explosion).
Red - engine, fuel tanks (possibility of fire).
Blue - the driver.
Orange - commander, gunner, loader (the crew members responsible for shooting and visibility).
Pink - weak armor.
Aquamarine - bad choice for shooting if you can hit other zones (stronger than pink, very high chance of ricochet).

Installation:
Unpack the archive in /res_mods/<version>/, where <version> is version of your WoT client.

+1
For me these skins are like cheats! If you are good at aiming do it without this!

Developers officially allowed to use it.

If you disagree just don't use it.

In fairness, im not overly keen on these skins, but they are all easily found through common sense and playing, so i dont really see the problem with them!
People can use them if they wish, until the devs ban skinning, i cant see how it will ever change?

FYI, did some testing and these skins aren't entirely accurate. For example, shooting the rear half of the Pz IV at the same level as the marked ammo rack will still damage the ammo rack, despite being nowhere near the marked ammo rack location.

No 2D skin wrapped around a 3D model will ever be able to tell you how to hit a 3D hitbox inside that model, from every possibile angle. To do that, you would need to make the model near transparent, to show the 3D hitboxes inside. As it stands right now, if you penetrate an enemy with a shell that has sufficient penetrating value, you can damage every single module/crewmember that lays in the path of the projectile; usually you only damage a few modules/crewmembers, then the shell looses too much penetration, and stops damaging things inside.

Because of what I just wrote, these skins are only meant to be visual cues to be used, mostly, when you are very close to a stationary target, with no bushes blocking your LOS, and you are looking for the most damaging spot to aim for, depending on hnow the enemy is angled (expecially its turret). If you have a cannon so powerful that you can punch through most of the enemy, you are not going to get much out of these skins: if, however, you are undergunned, then maybe knowing where the armor is softer can help you score an hit instead of a ding.

I took that into account. The angle of the hit put it absolutely nowhere near the ammo rack according to the skin.

Why should anyone get Banned for using this ,, I agree it may give some people a SLIGHT advantage but I woldnt say its cheating ,,after all , ,any one can alter the skins within there game ,,  As has been mentioned in other posts throughout this website ,, Tho too call out "BAN" I think is over he top !!!! I'm sure that if the Dev's thought this o be a "cheat" of some sort they would react accordingly !!!! :P

Lol, I have to say only one thing: thank you...

I've checked your skins for fun and just realized half of them are wrong, simply wrong.

Seems to me you collected your data from generic forums search and some personal experience (which proofs you have little clue on tanks).

Most of the skins show weak areas that are not weak at all, some even displace engines and fuel tanks, oh, the thing you managed to do right in each case is the gun positions, those were all correct (!).

Epic LOL. I can only hope many noobs use these as their main "learning" income!

you needed two posts to say that? and btw, it is allowed.

I welcome these skins, I used some other hitzone skin before as it taught me where weakspots generally are and what they might look like. However normal skins look so much better so I use that now. :)
