Hi!

I just got a lot of money over and would like to get hold of any of following tanks:

Pz. 38H 375(h)

Tetrarch

BT-SV

Pz. II J

If anyone knows where to buy codes, or if you happen to have some of your own, please PM me. I would really like to get my hands on of these, and I couldn't find any sites that sold them.

On special occasions you will sometimes see the Tetrach offered in the gift shop, most likely with a gold bundle of 15k gold for approx £42 + free Tetrach & garage slot. They offered that over Christmas, may offer it again over Easter, or in August during WG's birthday celebrations, or again at Christmas. It was originally given as a gift to all players - your account looks old enough to have received it. Did you get given it and then sell it? If so you can just ask WG for it back, either by sending a ticket to admin or by waiting till the gift tank auto recovery system has been implemented (it's in beta testing on USA server now, will be on our server soon). Same kind of gold bundles happen occasionally for the PzB2 too, which is a superb tank and a must get when it appears in the gift shop.

The only legitimate chance you have of getting the Pz. 38H 375(h) is if they make the same kind of deal with it as the Tetrach. It was last offered in August 2012 & May 2013 as part of a bundle, so it may be coming up again in the gift shop sometime this year. It's not worth the huge money it sells for on ebay, especially if it's going to be available in gift shop in the near future effectively for free with gold. You just need a bit of patience with this one.

BT-SV & Pz2J were only available from retail outlets as part of the Russian or German gift box sets, limited to 5,000 sets each across all servers. They were limited like this because they are OP and so too many in game would cause serious unbalance, but they can't be nerfed (in order to make them balanced enough to be widely available) as those people who already have them paid big money for those retail sets in order to get these OP tanks and so would be rightly outraged. The retail outlets were only in Russia or closely related States, and they are now almost entirely sold out. This is almost a mission impossible - but I know where and how :-)

EDIT (wow, I only know how for BT-SV, I just checked & the Pz2J is now fully sold out from all retailers). Re the Pz4 hydraulic, which you didn't ask about but is another rare tank. That is being given out for free with the promo Razer mouse. It keeps going in and out of stock, but if you keep a close eye on that site over next week you should get lucky and be able to order one. All WOT mice sold from the Razer site has the Pz4Hydraulic included.

Check your messages, I sent you a PM explaining how to get a BT-SV from an official retailer. You might get lucky too and get a Pz2J, but you'd need to check with them on whether they are getting those back in stock :-)

I actually checked ebay yesterday and saw some ppl selling the Pz2J for a huge pile of money, i have no idea how safe it is to by tanks over ebay but it got my attention and if i knew it was safe doing so i might buy one. It did cost more than my mechanical keyboard tho :amazed:

Buying off ebay is a bad idea, you have no come back and it counts as code trading which WG prohibits. But if you can get one from an official retailer, the codes for the BT-SV & Pz2J are worth some good money, not only cuz the tank is rare but because they come with 10k gold and 3 months prem - on it's own without the tank that's worth approx £50.

Anyway, pm sent to you too Major_cjs on how to buy these from approved retailers :-)

Just a bit of extra info on the Pz2J. From what I know some codes were handed out during an event called Gamescon. Perhaps there are similar events where it might be possible to get a code for the Pz2J, and while chances are small, it might be possible to obtain a code by visiting such an event (and sheer dumb luck winning some competition/quiz/whatever).

Yep, that's a good idea and I'd lub to go to a Gamesday somewhere. But I probably won't get the chance, and the cost of going in the hope of getting a Pz2J is probably as much as getting ripped off buying one of some shady dealer :-(

I do believe the UFP of the Pz2J is a weak spot. Pointy haired Jedi let the cat out of the bag in one of his video's. Jingles thanked him.

And putting that level of detail on the forum, so people who can't be bothered to make any effort to find them themselves or even ask questions can get them as easy as people who make a proper effort and even grab the last few units of stock! Not good, in fact very bad. If WG wanted this info so public don't you think they would have put that link on the EU site?

Is that site legitimate? And how do they have the stock of these if so few where every produced?

Yes i do, i also have some BT-SV and II J codes spare.

Oh and the drivers view port isnt a weak spot on the J, a T-127 or BT-SV using apcr will 99, 9% of the time bounce trying that, you would need to get very close which would ensure your death.

Another myth is that of the J cant kill another J, you can but it has nothing to do with the drivers view port.

and more than lightly die first. Another myth is that of the J cant kill another J, you can but it has nothing to do with the drivers view port.

Where did you pick the codes up? Gamescon?
