Looks promising.. Could you please link me to the source of Deadshot and Damage Indicator mods?

Cheers

First of all thank you all for your support, it's amazing to see all of you using it and/or providing feedback!

Firstly, a huge thanks for the mod, and the consistent updates you regularly apply.

I've been using it for the last few months. It's simple, clean and gives me everything I need.

One thing I need help with though.

How can I increase the zoom-out level in strategic (Arty) view?

In the 8.11 version I was able to zoom out a lot further than the current version, although I may have inadvertently tweaked something to achieve it for 8.11.

In the file \res_mods\0.9.0\gui\avatar_input_handler.xml change the value on line 151 to any value you like (it's formatted min max so make it 40 400 for ultra zoom out) <distRange>40 100</distRange>

I will change this to 20 200 from now on, to have that little extra zoom in and out :)

Hmm the Damage Indicator is actually one I have been using for a long time, I found it on mirtankov.net some months ago and it still works. Same goes for the Deadshot Mod (it's actually called SafeShot I think but I disabled that part), I have re-used it from my 0.8.9 modpack and it still works. So your best bet would be to search http://mirtankov.net/

Thanks! That's very easy actually, just change the HTML color value on line 52 in the file \res_mods\Mmap.xml to your desired color. You can find colors here: http://www.w3schools..._colornames.asp

Hmm that sounds weird, can you post a screenshot so I can verify exactly what you mean? I never heard of this issue before so I'm curious what is causing this :)

You have installed the full modpack and did not remove any files?

Hi p0st and thx for the mod.

I have just 1 question regarding Jimbos crosshair mod.

Can you pls advise how can I remove it from the installation.

Not sure if I need to erase specific files one by one.

Thanks for any help.

Really like this modpack, I'm  however having some issues tweaking the xvm over-target markers. I'd like to include player winrate, but editing line 462 and 1212 in cmarkers.xc to "true" had no effect. Any ideas?

Hey p0st,

The most things about your modpack do i like, but there's only 1 thing i don't like and that is the fact, that if multiple people hit 1 target.

All these hits get counted on 1 pile, and you can't see your own hits.

Could you change this to this?

You have to delete a couple of things to do that.

Delete this folder: \res_mods\0.9.0\gui\scaleform\DM

Delete these files: In \res_mods\0.9.0\gui\scaleform\ everything that starts with crosshair_ and the file GunConstraints.swf and in \res_mods\0.9.0\scripts\client\mods delete MS.pyc and GunConstraints.pyc

Hmm I'm not really sure how to pull that off. What you could do is to take a cmarkers.xc from another XVM config that you prefer, and put this in the xvm/configs/p0st/ folder

Hmm I tried some stuff, but I can't find any reference to this in the configs. I suppose it's a feature that was added as default later (I have been using the same config for a while now) and it will take some more research to compare mine with the new default config. I'll see what I can do :)

Fantastic mod!!

one question: I want the minimap to be centered and magnified in my screen by pressing my left CTRL key. In what .xc file do i need to make the adjustements?

EDIT: got it! its in the hotkeys.xc right?

Thanks man!

And no, almost right :) you have to edit the Mmap.xml file on line 8 and change it to the keycode you like, in this case the Left CTRL is key nr. 58

Ah it seems I posted the wrong reference to keycode values, this is the right reference to the various keys that you can enter in the mmap.xml (crtl=17) http://help.adobe.co...t=00000520.html

I have updated my modpack over the past two days and it's time for a new release!

Release Notes v6 (21-04)

  • Login Screen now remembers your favorite server (last used) instead of the default "Auto"
  • Minor tweaks to the Minimap configuration
  • Slightly modified Zoom for Arty (more zoom -in and -out)
  • Updated Yasen Krasen Messenger to 0.9.0.2
  • Update XVM to test2

If you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to post them, cheers!
