Sometimes I wonder if there will ever come a time when a multiplayer game can be released with no one asking "do girls play this" or a variation.

Desperate guys will always try to smoke out the girls in a game so they can have a shot at starting some deep and meaningful relationship with them through the game.

the fact that people feel compelled to even make topics like these shows how little progress is being made.

When i saw the Guiness World of Records icon on the loading screen i tought to myself "that must be for the lowest percentage of female players in a multiplayer video game"

Car games, FPS games, Tank games are more for the guys.
You will hardly find a girl playing those games.

If you wanna meet girls ingame. Then go play an MMORPG, or Sims. That are girl games.

S!

War4Peace, your wife does not happen to have a sister with similar qualities?! :D Women hate gaming, period. They are jealous because they do not get the full attention from you, but see you laughing with friends via Skype/TeamSpeak/Ventrilo/whatever while playing a game. But one thing they fail to see. That game her man is playing is a great babysitter! She wants out with the girls for a fun evening, go shopping or similar? Sure thing, just say something and the guy answers OK as he really does not pay attention anyway. Off she goes leaving you happily abusing the keyboard and mouse mumbling gaming terms to the headset...and when she is coming back the guy is still there shooting tanks mumbling something to his friends. Only at some point a thing MIGHT have came to the guys mind that why does the domestic dragon complain about gaming..but again forgotten soon as next battle countdown is ticking away and next bottle of beer opened..:D

Have a good one :)
