So, I'm a mediocre player enjoying the MT25 (some of the time) with the popgun (and the front plate - it is really good at ramming ). You really have to scout and select what you can hurt, but the satisfaction of taking down high-health CDCs is huge, the rare times it happens. I'm running suspension, optics, vents & a pretty new crew just about at 100% on camo (when I'll switch commander for 6th sense).
QUESTION - on the pogun, what is the best ammo for tracking ? AP/HE/prem ? I don't mind using prem if it's going to make a difference, but tracking higher tiers with the 37mm isn't trivial, & I don't usually live long enough to get any decent comparison :o
I think that's the key with tanks at this level, especially light tanks. You need to go in with a really well trained crew. Mine is currently nearing completion of their first skill / perk and quite frankly its a long grind with a tank that is a pretty easy kill most of the time. I'm not finding it easy.
I certainly have a lot of work improving my game play in it. And I include finding the right balance in play style too. You need to spot as handing out heaps of damage is far from easy. This basically means driving round and not getting hit or finding good passive spots. Neither is easy for me. Camo is not good enough, acceleration is too poor and the skid turns are a right pain at times. The gun is, well lets just say poor. More penetration would be nice or more alpha.
I was hoping for a little buff in 9.13's update. Sadly not
