Disable the god damn mod and focus on the game instead of whining for the first 3 minutes about your team and not doing anything yourself while whining. Ty.

Nice try but the tomatoes whining about the xvm win chance rarely ever visit the forum and for sure won't read this thread.

Even super unicorn players whine about the team and way too often drive in the lake on purpose or say " screw this tomato team I go camp ".

Truer words never spoken.

Yesterday in my first 10 games my teams won every game XVM said we should lose and lost every game XVM said we should win.  I usually don't enable winchance but it was on by default with the XVM install I used in 9

Don't only blame the tomatoes. Most people I saw complaining about winchances and demotivating everyone were in fact padders.

A tip to get a higher win change is becoming a super unicum yourself, you suddenly have a lot higher win rate in your games, its magic!

This.

Though the best way to avoid having low win chance is just to not play, so many scrubs around now in mid tiers its not even funny during day or weekends.

Disabling XVM will make absolutely ZERO difference the the 44% WR bot in his IS8, who's 90% likely to inflict a single penetrating hit before dieing miserably.  As he may well have been your top tier tank, that's typically NOT a good thing.

Stop worrying about stats.  After all, if you don't look during the game, you may well look afterwards to understand WHY your top tier heavies were so ineffective.  Worry about HOW to either educate the bots, or avoid them.

I usually reserve my judgment until the round is pretty much over, no matter how low the win chance is.

But sure enough when we get steamrolled 3:15 I'll say out loud what I think about my team

winning against all odds is a lot more fun.

not a spectacular start, but the END :playing: (click image and check the replay)

in fact I convoed the T29 and apologized for shooting premshells, he was cool with it.

I use XVM but I never put win chance ones - I can figure it out better myself since I can take into account the tiers of the extreme players (both bad and good).

Turned around a 2-8 losing game in my Valentine to Ace it last week, one of my most memorable, adrenaline-fuelled battles.

But to agree with mostly everyone else, don't use XVM, watch how the game progresses and only flame when the game is lost through complete and utter noobishness. If you can be bothered. Mostly i just shake my head, imaginary face-palm and roll on to the next battle.

Even taking time out to flame the XVM whiners at the start of battle is a waste.

Just play well enough yourself and bask in the warm glow of your overall positive win ratio.

everybody has such battles, but they are just tiny amount compared to the crap trampling ones. i just had a battle yesterday where my first thought was to get in a ditch and die and then went to win with topgun... but that "i wanna die" feeling came from that it was the 4th battle in a row with sub40% winchance and no, i didnt have to see the winchance in XVM to know it.

well some ppl think of it as a prophecy not just a chance given by pretty inaccurate software :)

i feel sad for them and ppl who have to play with them.

I have to admit, I do use XVM, and I do have the win-chance turned on.

It is definitely far more reliable in the extremes than around 50% winchances, and I delight in coming up with more accurate predictions based on which players are good (or bad).  The think I do like the best is subverting a bad prediction, even if it is clear (to me if not the algorithm) that our best players are on top.

You have to take the winchance prediction with a pinch of salt, as it can't be claimed to be accurate for every game.

If you let it influence you too much, then you are better off turning it off and just relying on player stats.

I just leave it on to use it as a barometer of how the battle is going, and / or to wonder how my personal stats can affect the team's win-chance so much despite only being green in XVM.
