So if I bought this 'package' on the first of May, it would save me.....2.39 EU. Less than 2 quid.

Do you guys squeak when you walk by any chance? :glasses:

Yes because the offer is in combination with the Paypal promotion action... offers like this have been going for a few weeks now. Last week it was the Löwe.

Same deal only now with 30 days additional (or gold equivalent) due to the 1st of may celebration of the facebook likes.

I bought the gold + B2 last week on the paypal deal.

I didn't use paypal you get the option at the checkout stage, price is the same using creditcard etc.

As an aside this deal doesn't look half as good, previous deal was £41.66 for equivalent of about 16,550 gold  about 2,000 more than standard rate.  (admittedly 1550 was tied up in a tier 4 tank and slot which in fact has proved to be great fun even though half the crew are listening to the radio)

The B2 was an excellent deal. Normally you buy 14.5k gold for approx £42, the deal for the B2 was 15k gold plus the tank & slot. That's like buying 14.5k gold normal price and getting 500 gold, the B2 and slot for free. Total bargain, but only when the tank included is normally unavailable and desirable, like the B2 (or at Christmas when they did this with the Tetrach), otherwise you're better waiting for a discount on tank and slot and buying them in game.

Thing is, a lot of these gift-shop offers aren't meant to be bought by the players themselves, they're meant to be bought by friends or parents as gifts, and on that basis, a few quid here or there doesn't matter, they still get some kind of saving and they're worth the extra money (above how much more a player could save by doing it the best way) to the buyer for them being able to give it as a gift. And what would Santa Claus do if he couldn't buy from the gift shop and get some kind of saving? Even Santa can't go into your WOT's account and buy you tanks in-game.

EDIT - BTW, they're doing these kinds of offers on WOWP's too now, and with rare planes. If you're into planes or might be in the future worth checking the site, they have an ace mission on for May similar to the IS6 with two free premium tier 6 planes, stacks of free prem days, free hanger slots etc.

Because:

http://worldoftanks....r-paypal-users/

https://www.paypal.eu/EN/gamingsale/

They have additional deals (outside the normal offers) joined with Paypal.
