so i find a lot topics about ppl complaining about the game we all play (made one or two topics myself sry...) and theres the war thunder ground forces which will introduce tanks and some people think its going to be the end of world of tanks i just want to know are you people sticking with world of tanks which u played for days / months / years or are you going to switch to war thunder?

a lil something i came across :

- I'm curious how WoT is going to respond to this. I heard they're going to supplement the Havoc engine on top of the WoT engine and double the polygon count.
- first they need to fix their servers...

- I never had any lag or dissconect on WoT, but my tank model is often discolored since the recent update
- In order to respond to this, WOT has brouth lag in our gaming expiriance!
- So far we had only crapy optimized game, but now we haw also lagy game!
TNX WG.

- Well, to answer your question, they were already talking about engine updates in order to introduce more physics elements as well as new ways in which tanks are killed (no longer the same exploded tank model).  In fact, turrets will come off an become environmental objects.  I know in the past the devs stated that a unison of the three games was their goal (at least for clan battles).  Still, no idea how that will be implemented since we have yet to see Battleships and WoWp doesn't seem to be loved.

-  I've seen the upcoming physics update video. It looks promising. And WoWp is a good game, it just needs some more planes. And it's probably not loved because of some WT purists
- W.O.T is updating anyway plus modules and tank accessories can be blown of in the nxt W.O.T. update

1. Both WoT and WT have many issues and problems. And they are quite different actually. Arcade-action vs. arcade-sim.

2. That said, neither WoT will die, nor will WT be a deadborn child because of WoT.

3. I'll definitely try WT. There is one thing I agree with the "WOT WILL GO DOWN!!!"-idiots: In terms of gameplay quality, the game is indeed getting worse and worse.

4. In before the lock.

I didn't vote, because I honestly don't know what I will do in the future.

I quit WoT, because I got bored...played WT planes for 7 months and got bored with it also (nice game, looks great...dreadful mm).

Now back here to give my rusty tanks and my buddies some love, until I get bored again.

Besides, there's more between heaven and earth. Looking forward to a hopefully nice summer without any computer games :smiles:

ive been playing WT and there are still alot of bugs and things that just dont seem right ( tigers power sliding for one) but they do have maps like Kursk which is just so epic. Played that on my tiger and the average range for engagements was 1000m. Wil still play WoT ( probably anyways) to keep up with friends, but the influx of these magic auto loading TDs are just making me lose more and more interest tbh.

Don't forget Armoured Warfare, looking forward to that immensely

I think each game has enough individuality to make it possible to enjoy all of them

Will not leave WOT for WT and more frustration but I will leave WOT for Tropico 5. This game isn't going in the right direction, problems are not being sorted out and matches get more frustrating by the day. I feel WG is making me leave if that makes any sense.

I'm keeping my eye on reviews of WT, but really so far I don't see anything worth to even try it out.

Also, I would rather be raped by arty than planez.

the thing is that wot is worse by every patch so it will lead to more and more people finding love in wt

wg is just shame because of the fact that they don't care about us and wt oh yes they care a lot so who do you think wins in a long run?

9.0 defies your words.

Also, when comparing WoT to WT: GF, keep in mind that WT's ground forces are still in closed beta. We can all remember what WoT was in closed beta.

Su-85 Vs tier 9 IS-4, Maus tanks being trapped by wrecks of tanks usually 5 tiers lower...such funny stuff.

In the short run nothing will change... but in the long run WT will have the brighter future I think... because: Combined Air,Ground and Sea combat vs and already filled out tree that only lives from some new fantasy tanks now and then.

I'll at least check WTGF out. If it ain't total garbage I'll play it for a while, if it's good I just might pick it up along WoT. I doubt I will stop playing WoT because of it, but it just might make its lifecycle just a slightly shorter for me.

@Saxan, The problem isn't that we don't have enough tanks, I think we actually have too many already. It's the game balance and some concepts that are broken and/or outdated for the current meta. What we'd rather need is fixing the game, and I hesitate to say that, as we all know what happens when they actually try to do that.

It certainly was. I was amazed....but it wasn't for the right reasons.
