I've seen something in the options, about postmortem mode. So I think you should look there.

That's just to disable the colour overlay isn't it? Didn't look to hard but a quick skim in the options didn't show anything to disable the pop up.

I know its only a small bar and a minor complaint but it would be nice to have the option to get rid of it, disable help tick box? Not that there are any other help messages, or maybe have it so it only appears for your first 5 or so deaths ever.  Its a good thing to have for new players, as can't believe the number of people who I've ran into during and after the beta who didn't realise you could quit after dying for no penalty and go into another tank, but its rather annoying to have it pop up every single time you die.

Exactly, or even reduce the bar size so it doesnt go over the map or other features of the UI. Theres more than enough space to get all the text in without it obscuring more important things. Sometimes when i die i ping the location of enemy tanks or arty to help but the bar might stop me from doing that now.

Also the postmortem checkbox in options does not disable the bar but the black and white washed out look you get.

the text shown in german is cut off anyway :D

it ends with "drücken sie die rechte" (press right...) and "drücken sie ESC, dann" (press ESC and then...)
press right... what?, i guess mousebutton (left does the same) and press ESC and then? Exit battle. I knew anyway but new players might think "WTF?"

Hi this is about the new pop up at the bottom of the screen when you die,
all it does is prevent you pointing out what killed you to your team untill it disapears,
you can not see the bottom of your mini map and you can not point out threats untill it goes,
by wich time the red dots gone on the map.

Indeed, there are better places to put it.

Bad enough I have Steam notifications obscuring the map at the most inconvenient moment without this.

I'm not really all that bothered, but it should at least be optional.

that pop up only covers my equipment - the damage/kill messages are still visible to me.

It covers the south end of the minimap, if you want to ping there to be useful in the seconds after you die you can't until it is too late.

Gives a clear advantage to the side attacking to the North.

The need for it is that there are still many players and the new ones comming, that doesnt know that you can press exit and join a new battle in another tank when you die.

But I did vote yes, cause I just find it annoying. Pls make this a option in the settings to be able to remove it.

Agreed, it annoys me and I haven't seen a place I could turn it off.
It's the same reason I don't play WoT using steam, though my lazyness would like me to: Messages will cover the minimap, which is a deadly sin in this game.

Make it optional, it is very, very annoyingly blocking the mini-map...  :facepalmic:

This is why it bugs me. Make it an option because after all those months of playing in the beta I don't need a pop-up to tell me what I can do next.
