Greetings Commanders!

Please note that on Thursday morning (15/05/2014) we will have a short downtime to apply a micropatch to address some issues. The game servers will be unavailable starting from roughly 06.00 CEST (04.00 UTC). The downtime is expected to last for about 1 hour.

Content of the patch:

  •    Fixed some issues with minimum rendering range.
  •    Fixed low FPS when shooting automatic guns.
  •    Fixed performance issues on Hidden Village.
  •    Fixed artefact issues on some graphic cards (square on trees).
  •    Fixed disconnections with FX and Phenom processors.
  •    Fixed charging gold by default on maintenance page when changing gun module on a tank.
  •    Fixed some rare memory leaks and crashes.

As always we are continuing to monitor and address issues that have been reported to us and we're rolling out fixes as quick as we can.  Thanks for your patience and understanding during this time.

Regards

Solutions to problems are always welcome.

I've noticed that in recent updates WG has employed the use of supplementing them with micropatches, I believe this is the right way to go about fixing issues, as soon as there is a fix it should be implemented immediately rather than wait for a larger update release.

~~So what about the gold we did pay befor the fix ?

And mostly when you payed to retrain crew with GOLD on  a tank it must .be possible to Keep this training . Just like it shoud be .

Ore do you in WG forget all your knowledge when you enter a other  room ore turn you back ?

once training payed you must keep the knowledge POINT

Some things are they way they are because they are credit or gold sinks.  Some other things are adjusted to make it easier on players as after all it's a game and not real life scenarios. -  Much like how when your tank is destroyed in battles and even ammo racked - You're back into battle with a small repair cost and we don't ask players to purchase a new tank each time to replace the destroyed one. :blinky:

Yeah...fix those annoying trees, they break the game right now. Such nuisance, much wow.
How about giving back gold that is constantly being lost by some "random" changing of premium ammunition resupply for no apparent reason? I hadn't fiddled with my centurion 7/1 and at8 gun setups and yet they started resupplying by replenishing shells with my gold yesterday. My money, my gold - your game steals my money. I have lost around 300 gold already ffs

I have question about Wot tweaker which I installed because of low fps and high ping after patch 9.0.
The instruction says: Note that before updating the game client (the release of a patch), you must restore the
original game resources. If you do not restore the original game resources to update, the launcher
will download the game again.
What should I do now, uninstall Wot tweaker, or what else?

Thanks

Ive should ive known....This micropatch is worthless too, still no significant changes to FPS fix .Omg WG  still lies...Fix the god damn shadow and lighting effects its still fuzzzy even on low settings + eats every resources! How many times people have to tell you this?Blind or what?Cant read from feedback? We dont kneed too much shadow quality and Lighting to play normally. This Renderer is totally useless! Also shadows are like Blob not projected correctly...WG still cant do anything right:trollface:

I forgot it myself. Had to download 500MB after verification of game files.

As for restoring in WoT tweaker:

Run the "RES UNPACK" part (the one you usually run before the .exe with the options to turn off smoke etc.). There's a small icon with a diskette and a green arrow, which says "Resources to restore the game from backup". Doesn't make much sense in English, but it does in German; "Originalzustand wiederherstellen" ~ "restore the original state". If you have a fairly fast connection, it doesn't take much time anyway.

After the Wot client automatically installed Patch 9.0.4. The game fails to start... It tries to load. I see the first loading screen (before my log on page) then the game just crashs back to desktop!
I have tried deleting the updates from update folder and manually copying in the downloaded file :
wot_90.3997_8B.3902_client.patch (as discribed on your help site) But the problem persists.

Will I have to reinstall... Again?:arta:
I´ve just purchased a new tank and some prem days! then this happens

Not a single problem so far with the 9.0 patch, no a single lag spike, random fps drop, random 999 ping, random "wot has stopped working" UNTIL NOW. Until the lastest "fix" patch. I'm running WoT on Dell Inspiron 15 3537, I7 1.8 Dual-Core, 8 Giggity RAM, HD 8850 2GB, 128 bits at very high/high 28-30 constant fps, latest windows updates/driver updates, SO ITS NOT FROM ME. You guys managed to fudge it up. Are you working towards a sollution, or working towards putting all players in same situation? This is unbeliveable and unacceptable. I was so happy when I was reading forums and not experiencing any problems whatsoever that the community was reporting. UNTIL NOW.

Í can´t connect to either of the 2 european servers, it says that the server id temporarily unavailable. Please update your client or wait for a Schedule update.

Is the server still down? I thought that it would take only one hour.
