Now for the sad bit, you see today Gaijn announced War Thunder ground forces. I'm guessing now Wargaming is going to counter-attack with a major update hopefully. But

R.I.P World of Tanks

Yeh, World of Tanks will be so boring without all the bitter noobs who go play WTGF instead.

Actually, WTGF is more demanding because of the lack of spot system, and easy one-shot kill if you aim at weakspots. The "48 WR" players will come back fast to WoT's more arcade gameplay. They can achive more here.

My reaction: Pz. Bfw. Jagdpanter. - purchased immediately, crew trained and into battle :)

This game is amaaaaazing. Superb graphics, more realistic from ground than from air at WT. WoT graphics is like cartoons compared at this. And above all my computer runs smoothly  at the highest graphic settings, while at WoT I struggle with lags at medium settings.

Sorry WoT, but with the ditch of Confrontation, and nothing to offer except boring grindings, even my favorite T28P & T20 cannot hold me anymore to play WoT.
WoT - you are great game, that I have played for 2 years.

But WTGF is the King now!

I played WoWP, but tasted WT and never looked back to WoWP,

I played WoT, but checked WTGF and I doubt that I will return to WoT.

I will be back to WG for WoWS though ...

Been playing it today and I like it. I won't abandon wot I guess. Both have good things but change is welcome. IMO the weak spots are more realistic, I like the speed of the tanks (even though they do feel a little like race cars), the damage that guns do and the more open battlefields.

Are you playing arcade?Tanks are UFOs much like planes are UFOs in arcade.Realistic battles makes the tanks much slower and "heavier.

The King tiger takes ten [edited]minutes to turn in realistic.

Yea arcade. The waiting times for realistic are so long right now. With planes I only play realistic. Maybe the wait times get shorter when more people takes interest in them.

Installed WT. Played a game. Felt like driving mario kart. Laughed about wot doomsayers. It could be fun if you are drunk though, I'll try it next time.

WT tanks drift too much, WoT tanks are glued to the ground and get stuck everyhwere. Neither of both devs did it right. :teethhappy:

I have to say, since yesterday I didnt even think to play a single match of WoT anymore. I just feel kind of annoyed coz I wanted to get the free garage spots you can win for each 100 matches. But I have no mood to even touch WoT after playing 2 days of WT Tanks. It is almost the exact game I always wanted. I only play in realistic mode. It is harder, absolutely. But I always criticized WoT of not having more gameplay settings. Like, Arcade and Realistic modes. I simply hate the facts you cannot see tanks 100meters way from you. And you cannot hide anywhere really. You see your enemy with tags. And the aiming is too easy too. This is 100% pure Arcade. But since WT is opened now. I think WoT can stay arcade for everyone to have a fast and relaxing match, everyone else can move to WT. I just enjoy having some more realistic feelings of actually fighting a real tank battle. Even tho there are still sooo many flaws in WT tanks and so much to do yet. But I have hopes for a great future here.

To summarize it shortly: No

WTGF as a concept pretty much suck. It will be nice game to go drive few games when you need break from WoT but that's it.
