And in half a year's time everyone will be calling WarThunder a wreck.

World of Tanks is still a very good game, even with all the blunders that happened lately.

But I'm already downloading, can't wait to try it :D

You'll get a ban for a few days for posting this, but since you're going to play that game, it should not matter. Look me up, same nickname, I am installing as we are speaking.

I don't have very high hopes, but I am tired of the tomato sea. Perhaps they have better gameplay when it comes to gold ammo? I don't know, I am still downloading. One thing will be good, FPS, I will be able to play on HIGH settings with high FPS, while in WOT I can do a measly 30FPS.

Don't forget to rage about ultra campy gameplay and random oneshots on WT forums.

I probably won't stop playing WOT, but I want to try War Thunder purely for simulator mode which WOT has nothing like. Looking at it, it reminds me of Forgotten Hope :teethhappy:, I wonder if WOT could do a similar mode?

its me whos dealing the oneshots. if you think theyre random, then youre one of the many WoT tomatoes currently migrating.

if they do it as well as the current historical battles, have high hopes, that is if you like historical battles where nothing is actually historical.

I guess all dumb td and arty players will leave for WT. Why?

Because entire WT gameplay consists off

1) camp bush or get oneshoted

2) camp enemy spawn and kill them on resp.

I don't mind one shots, but I do mind ridiculous RNG, I am not saying it is a better game, I am saying I'm going there to play it. After a few days I will be able to say if I am staying there or if I am returning. I am... reserved.

Which I wholeheartedly agree.

you should be able to ouflank and rush up close to enemy tanks in WT. seriously, it only takes a bit of terrain usage and reflexes. i dare say its much harder to hit anything moving in there then it is in WoT thanks to the steeper projectile drop, and some ridiculous flight times of certain guns.

I played the closed beta and didn't really like it. It's not the gameplay but the graphics are too bright. Verging on lime green leaves on trees etc and there's a major issue with needing to remove foliage to actually see the opposition. So, if you're looking forward to those lovely graphics, think again as you'll need to tone them down to make sure you have the same view as the enemy. No nice red outlines or names over tanks in War Thunder.

thanks to the oneshot capability, skilled players are able to carry teams more. its not uncommon to have more then 3-4 kills per battle if you know what youre doing.

All the negreps i got, toplol. What, surprised that not everyone cares about the Great People's War Thunder Revolution?

Guys, since you are going to play WT and never come back to WoT, could you pass me your account details!? I could make use of some free tanks! What do you say, eh?
