as alot of you may already know that the warthunder ground forces went open beta, i think now that wg has a bit of competition in the whole ww2 realistic* tank battles they should be improving this game BIG time and listening to the community more

id like to hear your opinions about this

My opinion on it? I'd like for these threads to stop popping up and instead find a single thread dedicated to the subject.

"Toxic community"? I'm sorry, is it toxic to dislike seeing a number of threads exactly like this, everyday (that might be slightly exaggerated; maybe every week). It just gets annoying to read the same thing again and again; that's why you make a single topic for discussion about the aforementioned subject.

The impact of GF for me is I'll have one more game to pick from when I need a break from WoT.

WT is not competitor to WoT. Few reasons:

1) it's more of a geek game. Gonna lose few fanboys, well, so what?
2) WT seems to prey on "protest votes" not a sound long term tactic
3) game itself is boring, ye pretty tanks, realism... realism gets boring quick, unless you're a fanboy.

These two different games going for two different market. And WT market is bunch of hipsters really.

"and listening to the community more" - they do listen. For example rebalancing was postponed. Altough, they don't listen for narrow-sighted stupid ideas, I can grant you that.

Your patience is admirable Pichu.

As for me, it will be played when I need a break from WoT. Which after today's pitiful displays and arty nukes means that break starts tomorrow.

I don't think WOT has anything to fear form GF. Those who where disappointed with the Historical battles and those that want hardcore mode in WOT will love GF. The rest that like WOT will find GF to be a different game that's even harder to get in to. And those that said they would leave WOT and their arites to play GF... oh they will be back since every light, TD and medium got "NPC" arty strikes they can call in. 5 players spam the hill with that and every one on that hill is dead within 5 seconds. Its not 1 shell. Its a salvo in a spread pattern, then a focus pattern with multiple impacts at the same time. So SPG haters will love GF for that.

WT is more "realistic" and harder than WoT

Considering the majority of people struggle with this game I doubt WT will have any impact on WoT

I believe it will make a positive outcome for WoT as they will have competition and may up their game

I personally don't like GF as it is now. However is in an early developing stage and maybe in a year I will try it again.

However the GF game engine is awesome. I can play it at 60-70 FPS on Max details. Looks like a movie. WoT at Max details barely reaches 40-50 fps for me. And the graphic quality of WoT at Max setting is equal with Lowest GF quality.

That's true; that's why I rarely do read them, normally I just ignore them. But when a single topic appears 3-5 Times on a single page, it starts to get on your nerves; ok, maybe that's just me.

yep, it's like the gold ammo and matchmaker threads, when there's already several posted in one day it gets boring

Especially when it gets to this point in the day where there's (exaggerating a bit here) like, one-two posts every five minutes.
