so my brother started to play both games WOT and WT with his new gamer computer

then I asked him about his opinion and here is the answer:

WOT is game for kids with old paleo graphics, disappearing tanks(which is ridiculous in eyes of adults), unbalanced (games are like 3min and then another frustrating game as a bottom tier)  so he uninstalled

WT is game of 21st century for real tankers running smooth on latest hardwer and filled with realism and there is no frustration so he kept playing this one

so this is opinion of my brother as a newcomer

and I think that he is not the only one who will judge like this

Both games are just as unrealistic as each other.

Pretty sure where OP has 726 battles, his brother likely has even less than that. Pretty sure said brother got his butt kicked in WoT a few too many times and raged.

Pretty sure this is like the guy who asks a doctor at a party: "So.... my brother has this itchy area down below..." :teethhappy:

I told him that he need some time to actually learn but that is not the point here

he rather choose better looking and better feeling game for newcomer

Which makes his views on comparing the games quite invalid.

Best thing I read in a long time

Can we make them hang big Polish flags all over the place and put a "Siemka" welcome screen?

(Sorry normal Polish guys, you know what part of the community I have in mind )

I just try to find what's going on here.

Op clearly hide too much information between the lines.

Well it seems OP is very hurt in the rear. from another thread:

##true mate it is very very frustrating game

and those stat whores virgin kids answering you are edited so don't mind them at all

good luck to you and try war thunder ground forces at least it is fun and way way better looking game for real tankers and not like this game for kids with paleo prehistorical graphics going down with every patch

TRUE###

It seems like OP is spreading anti wot propaganda

When will people stop comparing War Thunder and WoT? They're completely different games. It's like comparing FIFA to Pro Evo, Battlefield to Call of Duty, Need for Speed to Forza Motorsport, SimCity to Cities XL.

Yes they both have and do the same thing essentially but they're completely different. Wanna take it a step further? Fried chicken and roast chicken, sausages and pork chops, hamburgers and wafer thin ham, beefburgers and steak...there's nothing similar apart from the core idea.

There's no point comparing one as better than the other as both appeal to different audiences and both do things very very differently. I can't stand War Thunder. It makes little sense to me and things like I can't look around without moving my turret or enlarge the minimap are insane. The graphics are too vivid, the grass is almost lime green and you have to turn it all off anyway so you can see the enemy.

I like both games, and yes they are very very different. I actually like the fact you have to look for enemy tanks rather than them having a nice red halo. I had to tone down the colours on WoT, but haven`t done so yet in WT, they are vivid but I`m not getting lime green. To reiterate, two different games with the same focus - tanks- some will like both, some one, some none. Each to their own.
