Have you ever played battles where you seem to lose three or four games in a row even if your team has the most fire power / heavier tiers etc or you seem to get a extreme amount of shell bounces when it should of destroyed the enemy tank.

If so this is the randomiser in action you can usally tell when its kicked in as your team drop like dead flies or the active tanks seem to win by an extortionate amount eg - 12 / 2 -  10 / 3 etc.

Its about time War-gaming turned this unfair advantage OFF in game & left the teams to use their skills to win the battle.

I doubt we'd need a detective to work out that this guy needs a tinfoil hat, and fast.

I think WG should add a our-team-wins-other-team-fails-button to the player that has spent the most real money.

me too o_0

erm you need to do more damage...your average is the same as mine but you got over 13k battles and tier 10's and you need to kill more as well. then the 'randomiser' disappears :p

Just played tonight ten games, nine games lost with a majority of 12 kills for the enemy and three for allies.

Won one game five kills to enemy allies killed all remaining tanks.

One game lost but a fair shoot out as randomiser did not kick in four allies left and zero enemy left. but the rest of the games after that logged off and watched tv.

PS sorry for moaning and voicing my opinion.

Also randomiser does not disappear when you have higher kill ratio (as mentioned above), there were tankers who had a high kill ratio and there shells were bouncing off the plastic tanks in game.

I don't think you know how RNG actually works.

Hi Vonnis, open my eyes to how RNG works, you can explain it to me scientifically, mathematically or just plain simple English, I will understand your answer but I may still disagree.

Thank you

Rng decides where your shell goes within the aim circle.

It also decides how much damage and penetration your shell has within a boundary of 25% either way.

Ok, Many thanks for your quick reply & explanation, that may well explains the trajectory, velocity,  angle, speed and penetration of armor vs shell, but if you talk to team members or watch in game & 85% of their shells bounce on impact or on tracks or lightly armored (plastic) tanks & the enemy are winning by a vast majority, it does make you ask questions.

Cheers

Track absorbtions are indeed sometimes annoying but its part of the game and it is RNG

And even the most lightly armored of tanks can get a bounce if the armor is hit at an extreme angle or you hit the tracks then the pen is decreased and may not have enough pen to go through the armor

You lot are missing the point he is trying to raise.

He is not talking about RNG.

As far back as closed beta (and I know quite a few of those guys, I started in Beta myself) WG mentioned a server side randomiser that would favour one team to make the other side need a lot more skill to win.

The effect would make the favoured team's shots hit more often, bounce more shots off them and generally make the other team work really hard to get a result. WG seem to think this would prevent matches from dragging on and people getting fed up of too many draws.

However since they made gold ammo available for credits, there's no need to run this software as the team who spends the most wins (unless they now factor that in too now).

And don't quote my average stats back at me I know what they are. :sceptic: Thanks
