Sorry to hear such bad news, he was one of the greats and his portrayal of Lord Flashheart remains as one of the funniest characterisations ever.

Terribly sad and a shock considering his age. First time I saw him was as Kevin Turvey (pre Young Ones). Kevin Turvey would have been a star on this forum, he'd have unearthed the real truth about RNG & MM!

(there are Kevin Turvey vids on google if it's before your time and you've not seen it, it's ace - google - Kevin Turvey The Man Behind the Green Door)

Kevin Turvey Investigates!
Was a sketch on a show, couldn't remember at all what it was.

Google... A Kick Up The Eighties!

Look at that cast! Richard Stilgoe? ... well a beard and a piano eh :p

RIP Rick.

I played against someone called Kevin_Turvey a few weeks ago. We had a few lines in chat about him not being the real one. Now that would have been something else if it was!!

The real Kevin Turvey character was also pretty much my first introduction to the crazy world of Rik Mayall.

Bloody shame.
