Hey guys, just played many bat games recently, got this 1st Mark of Excellence as I did my 2nd over 7k damage game in bat today.

My current DpB in BatChat is 2821 but description says recent:

So im curious what DpB you need to have in recent battles to get 2nd and 3d mark, anyone of you has it and could he post his current and aprox. recent DpB in bat please?

Your damage per game is probably sufficient for the 3 marks. Notice that WG implemented the marks of excellence in a funny way: for the first N (I heard 50-100) matches since 9.1, your average damage is penalized. So in order to know how well you are doing in tank x you have to play the N games in it first. (IMO a better solution would have been to show the correct standing but grey it out, saying that you still need y matches to get a reliable rating.)

EDIT: Don't know if they just report your average damage as DAM/N, where DAM is the total damage you have done in the last N matches since 9.1. If you don't have N matches yet, DAM is the total damage from matches you have played so far since 9.1 (could be 1 match, could be 45).

also, are you sure it counts the avg damage done and damage upon spotting? i played like 80 games in batchat since 9.1, doing an avg damage of 2 650 and 700 damage upon spotting in those 80 battles. Still, im only better than just 54% players. My damage ratio in batchat is 1.7, witch i think its not that good, im a very agresive player abd i die way too often.... but still better than most players.

how many battles you have to play to get all 3 marks? and if your average damage drops, your marks are removed as well..?

IIRC marks shouldn't be revoked. So once you get 3rd mark you can bot all the day all night.

No, I don't think so. I think it just has to do with it being non-retroactive and stuff, so already having lots of matches means that your average damage ratio goes up slower (which is kind of [edited], why couldn't they do it right). For example, this weekend I grinded both Type 58 and VK 28. I had great matches (and lots more) in the former and sucky (and less) matches in the latter. However, when the patch came out my VK28 had only 14 battles on it, the Type had... 80? Maybe even more.

When I sold my Type, I was still under the requirements for the 1st Mark. A few matches before I sold my VK28, I had it.

how many games you have in it?

they already said you needed 100 battles to earn them, ofc you could reach the first mark with less than 100 battles if your damage was high enough.

but somewhere i read assist damaged counts(would be pointless for scouts)

I had 44 battles in the VK 28 after the patch, and I didn't do terribly well in it. Yet, my growth in average damage % was much greater than my Type 58. So either people are really good in Type 58, they're bad in VK 28, or 'fresh' tanks have an advantage in getting Marks.

From my experience, assisted damages don't count. My rating wouldn't go up when I was playing my ELC like a scout, doing several thousands of spotting damages every game but no or very little actual damages. So I switched play style to stealth TD, dealing damages myself and letting others spot for me or spotting for myself. There my ratting started to go up. Turns out getting tons of Ace tanker badges by scouting isn't worth anything, but dealing mediocre damages helps. That's not very scout friendly.

Maybe damages upon detracking an enemy's worth something though.

Since its population relative, it wouldn't.

Don't count on me at this but i think they mean with damage ratio "Average damage dealt/Average damage taken".
So even with 3k+ average damage your % might not go up if you also take full damage on most games.

Have myself first mark on my bc and going somewhere like 73% at the moment i think. Have around 150 games on bc since 9,1 patch and no idea about average damage. (already 1,5k games on my bc but since 9,1 patch my average damage has gone up from 1,9k to 2,1k so i think i have been doing pretty good damage on it)

i actually think marks of excellence only show how many games you played..
100 games -> 1 mark

200 games -> 2 marks

300 games -> 3 marks

otherwise i cant explain why i saw really bad players with 1 and 2 marks, and when checkin their avg damage, its around 500...

I have currently never seen any other player with two marks [i know there are, but not many]... you hardly see some one with one... but i never ever saw 3 marks... have you ever seen a guy with 3 marks?

At ~85% and been playing a lot of BC games and keeping avg. damage around 3300. Highest I had was ~90%. It is very frustrating that it doesn't go up more :)

This system ain't working properly for sure.

When you're ~3,7k avg dmg, 1,1k spot dmg and take in only 1,4k damage average, you're still 10% off the 3rd mark. Highly doubt there are ~15% better in EU with 50M.

@TCM same problem... 3200dmg avg, still rising, max. 89,9% and i cant get higher... i know i do mistakes etc., but srsly 10% better in that tank? Hard to imagine. Especially WHERE ARE THEY? xD

I got ~3300 avg dmg on Bchat and I'm 75,5%. It says I need the avg dmg of 4200 to get the second mark.

Rumors are that all levels for marks will be reduced by around 7% in 9.3

Be aware:

The formula for the average damage is: (Damage dealt + assisted damage) / 100. So this is detrack/spotting damage + damage done by yourself, devided by 100 battles.

WG *** up de percentage you got and fixed that in 9.3. If you play 1 battle now, the values will be corrected. So play 1 game and you'll fly up in percentages ;)

BTW: for 1 mark of excellence, you need to have 2700 damage dealt + assisted damage over the last 100 games.
