Think I have less than 5k currently because I recently bought the WZ-111 1-4.  Think I have had it go over 100k twice but it doesn't stay that way for long as I end up getting new tanks.

I currently have 60k, but then I just spent 100k.

I also have 170+ tanks in my garage :)

I have as much as it takes to get the next module I'm unlocking. Soon as I have enough to get that gun / tracks / turret / engine, i spend it and aim for the next module.

Why would you save free XP? Even if you only play 1 line and 1 tank it'd be better off spent as crew training. 266K would have given you many, many skills.

How can you spend it as crew training?

you only need 1 skill to be effective and that is repair if you are med/heavy/light and camo if your td/spg. rest is not needed.

free xp is way better as it gives you more tanks for less work.

I'd argue 2 skills are a minimum, camo / repairs for meds and lights (you want to see them before they see you), camo / BIA for TDs and SPGs, repairs & others for heavy.

I've no argument with using free XP in favour of crew skills. It's storing up 266K of it and not using it that's idiotic.

If you weren't gonna use it on modules anyway you could have been using it on crew skills all this time and enhancing your game experience.

I'll say it again: storing free XP beyond the amount you need to unlock your next module is idiotic.

Lets say you are saving up to buy a specific tank and unlock all the modules at the same time.

When I said I have 170+ tanks I was not fibbing.  Each has its own crew.

170 tanks, 8500 battles? Are they all Tier I -  V??? And crews must be under 100% primary most of them, unless you've spent a MAHOOSIVE amount of gold?

Nope tiers 1-10.  Last count 4 tier 10's

And all my crews start at 100%  When I started I did the 50% and 75% crap but hated it.

Basically if you have a look at my tanks in my record I have almost all of them.

If you are wondering how.  I stopped playing wow and other subscription games and spend the money instead on gold and premium account

Very expensive to start all crews on 100%, I thought I'd spend loads on this game, you must be well over £1000 down by now!

Well i have over 900k of free exp, not a single gold used. All my elite tanks have accelerated crew training active.
Question why have 900k free exp in the first place is that i like to grind my tanks raw and wet  and take my time. I have plenty of tier 10 tanks already, why should I rush tiers. As a collector of tanks when i make most of my 5x doubles on weekends I manage to get 8-10k free exp a day.
Been thinking about skipping a whole line from tier 1-10 some times but I'm to lazy to grind gredits and because I collect my tanks I wont sell the finished tanks so no gredits form there ether.

Gathering free exp of this amount is not a thing to do.. it has become a sickness  just to see how much can I get.

I am not grinding new tanks. The game has lost some of its attraction to me. Maybe I should start and grind more tanks.

I usally save getting new crews until half price weekends but...

170 tanks. 5 crew each so 170,000 gold.

Thats over 3 years

I used to buy 5,500 gold per month with the money I saved frmm cancelling Wow and all 6 of my eve accounts.

So April 2011 till now is 38 months which would be. 209,000 gold. or £607 or so.  But WOT is my only online game, I quit smoking and I dont drink.

Anyway its fools like me who are paying for WG's platinum toga parties and stuff.

I've been buying 5500 gold for a few years now, plus occasional premium tanks. Think I've paid for my share of WoT! We should get a free invite to Bovington, air fare and a lap dance from Olga included...

I suppose it doesn't matter if you spend 266K unlocking a Tier IX fully, versus doing it module by module.

But nearly a million free XP?? The mind boggles. You could nearly have had a 4 or 5 skill crew with that and skills do make a difference to your win ratio.

I have 423k free xp, 0 of them converted.

At the beginning of my WOT career, i regularly spent free xp for modules and skipping bad tanks. Then I stumbled upon the information here on the forums that the (then T9) T34 was to be turned into a premium T8 tank and that ppl owning them will get the premium for free + the new T9 (M103). Checked the eta of the new patch an I saw that i only had like 2 weeks to make the T32 grind, because I had very little free xp. I tell you, that was a strenuous grind, IS-6 and SP missions were like cakewalks compared to that. At that point I decided to stockpile free xp for exactly such things, like

in December 2012 there was a big sale on T8 tanks (50% off). I was grinding the Black Prince (the horror) and now there was a Caernarvon for 50% off, but I'm still 60k xp away from unlocking it... bang , 60k free xp spend...

During the IS-6 mission, the Japanese line was introduced late into the mission, and you had to grind 63k xp just to get to the tier 6, which had to perform the mission. Bang, another 60k free xp spend to save precious time. Plus I skipped the last 12k xp on another tank to free up a garage slot.

However, at this point I think I really have more than enough for any circumstance, so i may start using it again for modules and stuff.

yes, well some players needs 3 crew skills to preform, others only needs basic 100% to preform equaly good, just like it was at release.

and in a game where xp is the only thing that cant be bought, i consider free xp the moust important asset to have tons of.

280k free freexp. Had 330k yesterday but I decided to go against my hoarding instincts and unlock the T28P's 120mm. Still makes me shudder to think I spent 1500 games worth of freexp in two clicks.
