Why all the hype about Jingles? I really do not understand, he is an average player at best imo

His YouTube videos are pretty damn entertaining, and he seems like an all around nice guy.

Sure, I could watch WoT superstars, but most of them are either annoying as hell, play annoying as hell music, are too snobby or are just too boring as persons.

Whatever else you might say about Jingles he does have a good voice for YouTube, and there were definitely signs that he'd developed a little humility following the criticism on here, which can only be a good thing.  He doesn't have as high opinion of himself as he has done in the past.

I still like QB for his skill - while hating him at the same time for his skill, youth, good looks, self assurance and general solid middle class upbringing.

PointyHairedJedi is a recent discovery for me.  He provides good value.

SirFoch can be helpful and amusing although sometimes a little childish for my taste

I dislike QB for his general taste in jokes and use of legag stuff, but he is good. Foch is actually honest when he plays a tank that sucks, but his responses off the air kinda seem childish indeed.

Hmmm, I still dont get it

Why would you want to watch some one play a game that you could be playing yourself?

Ah yeah I get it now, I was going to watch the latest Godzilla movie, but instead I will just watch a random old guy watching the movie, I know I will enjoy it a lot more

TBH it's just another player, another name, nothing really special. People take him for some kind of deity, worshipping him and throwing games away only to kill him. I don't get it as well, I would say hi and some generic comment but all those "omg omg celebrity" is a bit over the top. And he is suffering because of that as well.

But on the other hand I was something like that when I first met Highflyer, but since then it got to me that they are only people wanting to have fun, in no way different than you or me.

1. Go to youtube.

2. Search for "ASMR whisper".

3. Mind = blown.

Brrrrrr... that's actually a bit creepy. *shiver*

I raaaarely watch WoTubers, but those channels are a good source of information if you need advice on tactics, maps and stuff. That's the major motivation to watch them for most players, I guess. I really don't care about the rest they do.

btw: Here in Germany, "let's plays" became a thing in the last years, that's basically watching people playing games - who do that for a living (more or less).

Can be quite interesting. But if you own those games yourself, it becomes a bit pointless indeed.

I think, after watching that replay (I swear i felt my WN8 rating drop significantly just for watching it), I have a lot more sympathy for jingles and other streamers than I did before. Imagine that happening to you when you play, time after time. No wonder he afk'd. The replay did make me laugh though, kudos for posting it

Also, Saxsan, whilst it's great to see you obvious excitement at being with Jingles, he really isn't the 3rd best WOT player, probably doesn't want you to *** his **** like you said you could (it probably sounded better in your head, would have been better kept there) and would really rather you had just done your job. Nor was it your tanks fault you died, though i did LOL at you blaming the tank for it, so +1 for that.

Good to see your spelling in game is as good as here too.. bohomeian angle indeed. Comedy gold, I just can't tell if its deliberate or accidental

For a long time those vids were the only way I could fall asleep.

Also, I just watched Saxsan4's replay and... holy crap. Your teammate Jakpao summed up my thoughts perfectly with his comment. xD

Lol +1 till I run out, this is excellent :-)

And just think, this might only be the start! I've never really watched Jingles, but if he platooned with Saxsen I'd watch that. In fact perhaps Saxsen could become a special guest star for celebrity platoons. And then report back on forum. I think you should approach them with an offer Saxsen, as the forums official celebrity platoon reporterer :-)

(and FFS Saxsen, -3300 reps!!!)

My stock reply from now on, whenever anyone mentions Jingles is "OMG JIBLEGS!"

After watching that replay I am now back to being about 50% certain that Saxsan is the most perfect, elaborate troll I have ever known.

Nooooo. You have just crushed my hero worship.

I don't have many idols left after they found out about Jimmy Saville. Only Rolf Harris, and he is Australian.
