I really like the new map...wolf packing in a platoon is very effective there...

Hmmm...what did he mean by secrets on the map...will check that in training battles.

This map is the apotheosis of WoT level design. Combat is very dynamic on it, map is beautiful and has great sound effects. The only disadvantage, as somebody on Youtube said, is that it is so rare in map circulation.

WG has made some rather.... bad maps (yes komarin i'm looking at you), but this map is a pack of win wrapped in win.

Its beautiful, dynamic and its not just a random part of landscape, its an actual location AND Stalingrad is next? Ohhhhh WG you are going to spoil us :)

I wish i could play it more often tho :)

I am glad most of you enjoy the new map.

Personally I like it very much, then again I am a great fan of all city maps.

I was searching the map a bit and the only thing I found was this little tank inside one of the houses on A3. I am not really sure if that was the secret he was talking about, but it is not so common thing to see on maps...

lol a tank inside a house. I explored the map and found some passages trough houses. I gained some map knowledge but nothing seemed really secret.

OHHH bloody hell ! I just realized now when the guy was saying the city's name that I had it screwed up... All this time I thought this was Krakow.. as in the Polish Krakow.. and it was some funky spelling in wot... now I see it's actually a Ukranian city do'oh - me idiot :teethhappy:.

Anyway it's a great map. One of my favorites right now! Good for every kind of class except maybe arty. Would love to see more of these maps.

Hi,

the new map looks nice indeed but there are some accompanying things that bothers me: Firstly a great majority of recently added maps is closed terrain or urban maps. Secondly most of them are Russian. Thirdly The Great Patriotic war's been mentioned in the video as a partial reason to develop some of these - the advertised new Stalingrad map included. (The Great Patriotic war is a soviet propaganda fiction although a very successful one. It's been devised to water a guilt of soviet aggression down. The USSR as an Axis ally entered the WW2 and as a revisionist state (just as The Third Reich, Fascist Italy or Japanese empire) had provoked a conflict and then it either failed to attack Nazi Germany before the Nazis attacked the USSR or suddenly and irrationally switched its pragmatic policy towards an idealism and trust in the word of Führer.)

So I'd like to see some open terrain maps located in different areas released in the future. For example: Bocage (Normandy), The Holy Land (Levant), The South Asia (Pundjab), Riviera (Southern France), Iberia, Safari (South Africa), New Mexico or Texas, Black Sea coastlands (Romania, Bulgaria lowlands) and Persia.
