Well, there is no need for me to point out the countless ways WoT makes you angry to the point you rage so much, you want to take a break or else things are looking bad for the things/people around you.

So, my question is:What game do you use as a substitute to WoT, the one that you play when you need a break to relax?

I don't play any other game. I find it best to do something completely different. Get away from the PC and as its nice weather get outside and play with mountain bike or RC cars or motorcycle s.

I have the other tank game installed, but not played it much as it takes ages to get into a battle for some reason. Also I don't want to spend too much time sat at a computer. Real life is better.

Guys, guys.... I'm 26. I'm not a kid, i have a 'real-life' which revolves around getting my university degree. So quit it with the "you should go outside" responses and save your time.

To clarify: I just need a few suggestions for games to play for just a few minutes in between WoT sessions to relax!

Been playing silent hunter 3 since it came out (2005?) and I find its a nice way to unwind. There are newer versions but for me sh3 with the grey wolves (GWX) mod is the nicest. The realism settings are nicely scaled ranging from the likelihood of dud torpedoes to having to calculate the range/aob/speed of a target yourself, some have even built replica mechanical computers to do the calculations on (to hell with that personally-trig was never my strong point) Your crew will tire and need to be rotated or they lose efficiency.

The AI responds smartly- destroyers will attack you whilst another uses his asdic to fix you, hit a ship in convoy and the entire convoy will begin zig sagging. The weather changes randomly and ranges from flat calm with excellent vis to raging storm with rain AND fog (time to dive to 30m and put the gramophone on). You can manually use the hydrophones to listen for contacts your crew may have not heard or man the guns and miss targets your crew would have hit.

Its probably the only game you can play for 2 hours and NOTHING happens and then you suddenly blunder into a hunter killer group of destroyers........

Company of Heroes 2, Battlestations Pacific. I enjoy playing these two. Fun and I don't mind if I lose since there is no importance on win rate.

I have a few low tiers tanks I play when I rage to much in high tiers. Like the T2 Light, Or my Luchs. Heck I even have my MS-1 still. Tanks I just don't care about the outcome. I play em for a giggle. If you get upset about tier 1 losses after 5K battles then yes you def need something else.

But besides that. I have a game I focus on every now and then. I play Brutal doom atm when WOT gets to crazy. Play it on high difficulty and just take on the horde with the double barreled shotgun. Its a good anger management therapy.  Or I play Unreal Tournament that has been installed on my PC for 14+ years. I got so many mods on it and there is still an online community. A nice place to let some steam out :)

Kerbal Spaceprogram, Path of Exile & Diablo 3 have been my go to games. Nice single player fun where you don't have worry about terrible teams.

The only other game I play besides WoT is Hearthstone (play it very little though) and it just usually pisses me off even more than WoT. :sceptic:

I switch games a lot, but recently I went back to Mechwarrior 3. If you're getting slapped with tanks, use mechs.

I usually go for Counter-Rage... Since you chose a Hitchhiker's Avatar, you may like that awesome little indie space-themed game,  'FTL' . It will focus your rage elsewhere.

Also, the 'Souls' series is well fit to let you forget your anger in favor of other, stronger anger. Play Dark Souls 1 for maximum effect.

For real nice and chill, try 'Hearthstone'.  It's pretty good and free, too :)

Since I really play awful....I play less until I get my act together.

I fired up "Alice, Madness Returns" again, perhaps fighting angry teapots...and what not...is good training.

Depressing game though

I take small "breaks" from World of Tanks almost every day. Like after an ace tanker loss or when I just have a streak of bad battles. I usually go and play games I played as a kid such as Star Wars battlefront and Red Alert 2. I also just finished the game World In Conflict expansion on very hard. If you haven't tried Team Fortress 2, I can't recommend it enough. Now It's free to play so just log into steam and download it. One of the best games I've ever played.

A long, constantly changing list of games. I play a lot of stuff, often hopping from one game to another. Currently playing FTL, The Swapper, X-COM: Enemy Within (think that's what it's called; it's the expansion to Enemy Unknown), Rise of the Triad, Diablo 3... and feeling a sudden urge to replay Alice: Madness Returns because someone mentioned it and that game is amazing.

I use the game called 'real life', I don't have room in my life for multiple games, when I like one I play it and that's it.
