Hello guys and evening to you all.

So there are some among us whom are the victim of so called "used" nicknames.

Well lets mention me, I wanted to get the nickname "Darkblood" only. Well, it was "used" as WG said. Or was it?

Now, as you see, This account, so called "in use" was created in July 2011 and it hasnt been active not even once.
The main thing is; I dont want to carry a "sign" on my nickname, about my nation, age, or any other personal aspect.

And i use this nickname in many games so that i "may" run over a couple of friends from other / previous games i played. ( Oh yea that already happened twice, met 2 old friends from Need for Speed World )

So what i'M suggesting here is that WG should delete these accounts on demand, as they are inactive, in non-use and they are blocking our wished nicknames.

What do you think?

It is a good idea. Or you could come up with a truly original nickname that nobody uses. ;)

Its the only way that 9999999999 thousand of millions of players are playing wot so wg can post it in the ads.

True would be better to delete them if they have 0 battles and no activity for a year or longer.

Thinking WG side that in correct, Can't they rename those accounts so that they can keep bragging about zero battle accounts?

Like anyone would ever have the opportunity to actually check if that number is real. Or: they don't need these accounts to advertise any number they want to.

There are endless of 0 battles WOT accounts. I assume WG wont delete them because it makes their game look popular due to the number of "players". :mellows:

If they don't have such a big number of accounts and say in their advertisement they have a lot more that means they lie adn if someone will check it then the whole world will know they lie and that's not a good for an online game:)

edit well I just guess there must be some way to check this, I mean xvm and all that stuf have access to wg database with players and so on.

There is a possible explanation for their being locked though... just a suggestion mind... maybe they were guys live in the BETA who didn't play after release? All of our accounts were migrated over without the need to reregister the player name... dunno...maybe...

That means nothing, their battles would stay.

Well sure if an account has remained untouched for ~1year with 0 battles.

So this explains why mostly of them has 0 battles.

Still, my idea is that if somebody wants a nickname which's already taken (let's say I want "Nightmare"), he could send a ticket to the Support if that nickname is already used but has 0 battles.

[OT] COMIC SANS, my eyes burn [/OT]

Btw, I also think they're keeping those names to have the bigger numbers, that's for sure.

Didn't think about it at first

With 60 million potential customer support tickets that would never happen or even work.
