I'm sure there are others who have shared their pics of the Overloon War Museum in Holland, but I'll just post mine here. Hope you enjoy them.

Some excellent photo's there - well done.

I like the Archer - really looking forward to seeing it when (if) WoT bring it in.

The Battle of Overloon was quite a vicious affair and doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I've actually served on two of the bits of kit that's in your photo's.

Ha – don’t get overly excited, I was an artilleryman.

I did a couple of years on the BL 5.5” and quite a lot of time on the Light Gun.

Funnily enough, the light gun in the museum is in desert colours and our guns were initially earmarked for export to the Shah of Iran – however he got deposed and we got his allocation. Obviousl, as we were in support of BAOR our guns were painted in green and black, however the sight cases, covers and other bits like that were still in ‘Desert Stone’ colours.

The 5.5” was just a big heavy sod of a gun – only fired HE and smoke – mind you the HE weighed about 90lbs and it could chuck it a fair old distance, but it was on its way out of service when we had it. It's the gun that WoT has in the Crusader 5.5".
