Thanks, just about to get the 6th sense full on Type 58 so that I can go forward to T34-1, double crew xp will help a lot. My last crew without 6th sense

[edit]

-1 neg rep for training crews??? Nice work :child:

We have very mature players here, how about go play: http://www.lego.com/en-us/games

Ps. It´s also quite funny how there is always a huge whine about the specials, is there ever positive feedback on them?

I would play my dailies anyway on the weekend, specials or not, so anything is a bonus really.

More arty out, ill enjoy the sun instead.  Ive grown to dislike SPGs now, the problem is I love scouting, dilemma.

POPULAR

When you implemented those missions they were fun and they gave a lot of credits or different bonuses to players.

Now they are completely moronic, and all the good bonuses from before(credits discount on various tanks, more discounts on other game elements) are gone.

I mean, when a weekend special was coming up, i couldnt wait to see whats in it.

Now you basically play for either x3 for the first victory or x2 crew exp.

I miss the old weekend specials with much more bonuses and discounts...They were really SPECIAL...

Oh, boy. Another kill X number of arty mission. Another weekend of suiciding tanks aiming for that cash reward. I miss the old missions too.

Call for Fire!
SPGs of Tier IV and above only
Deal at least 3,500 points of damage in the course of one battle

Seriously? One battle? Are you nutts? I mean for the higher tier arties that is doable, but you just riddicule the thing by starting from a tier IV... That must be some serious pro player, that would have to have grossly incompetent team (so they would not take much HP from the enemy), as well as total tomatoes as the enemy... I just can't see an arty doing 3,5k damage as tier IV. Even tier V would struggle. Someone did not think that thing through...

Not that I'm happy with the special. The only good thing here is x2 crew XP. You could throw in e.g. a small discount on premium account or anything unusual, not the same boring stuff.

Fellow WoT'ers. it is time we realize that the w/e after an AWESOME special, there will be a MEH (putting it mildly) w/e special.

Obviously, the only saving grace is the X2 Crew XP, which is NEVER a bad thing.

Naming the special "something to do with reconnaissance" is quite hilarious when the real scouts (except for chaffee), eg. light tanks T6+ are excluded...

It really isn't worth it to bash forward in anything higher then a Tier 4-5 at most.

150K Silver is not enough to cover the bill for killing 10 arty at tiers 6-10.

When I look at the weekend specials I look for what has been left out and what is in.

No 3x or 5x exp:  Very good makes it harder for players to advance. Too many really bad players drive around in tier 8 + tanks. Reason to play this weekend

2x crew experience: I have a lot of crews that needs training: Defintly a reason to play

Specials for arties is in: I can't tell you how much I think arties ruin the game.  Reason not to play

Special for playing light tanks: I play them very seldom and often only when there is a special. Reason to play

No really ambitious missions and rewards: I don't like missions where you recieve rewards for just looking stupid. Reason not to play

reasons to play 3 , reasons not to play 2.

You will see me on the battlefield this weekend

Well I might just play some scouts.   I'm at 97% 1st skill on the M5 and fancy playing some Chafee as well.  Could take the arty out as well but low tiers mostly.

To all those whining about old missions: Do you also remember to what it led? How we got a mission that gave bonuses to everything, triples, discounts, and stuff and people came and were like: "Awwww, what a [edited] mission, we had that the last weekend, give us something better!"?

IMO the most of the missions should be like this - a few missions, some minor discount and bonuses.

It makes the big missions (that are saved for important dates and events) stand out more, so you can appreciate them properly.

Decent special, nothing wrong with it. Just asking when we are going to get premium tank discounts again? There has been awhile without any ...

Edit: Neg rep for asking a simple question - thanks forum.

time to make more medals :trollface:MedalPascucci.pngMedalDumitru.pngMedalBurda.png

Pascucci’s Medal - Awarded for the destruction of three enemy self-propelled guns.
Second Lieutenant Luigi Arbib Pascucci was an Italian tank commander during World War Two. He fought with the Ariete Tank Division in North Africa. Pascucci fought in the Second Battle of El Alamein, where he sacrificed his life in a reckless frontal attack that enabled the rest of his company to escape encirclement.

Dumitru’s Medal - Awarded for the destruction of four enemy self-propelled guns.
Ion S. Dumitru was a Romanian tank ace. He fought in World War II for just twenty-five days, of which five on the German side, and, after Romania changed sides, twenty days against the Germans. On March 6th, 1945, Dumitru contributed to the destruction of six enemy tank destroyers and capture of a battery of 150 mm guns.

Burda's Medal - Awarded for the destruction of five or more enemy self-propelled guns.
Guards Colonel Alexander Burda was a Soviet tank ace and a Hero of the Soviet Union. On October 4, 1941, Burda organized an ambush and destroyed an enemy armored column, including 10 medium and light tanks, 2 trucks with antitank guns and 5 infantry vehicles. Not awarded to SPG drivers.

So we should have worse missions because people will complain? So what? People will always complain, why should I care about that? I'd rather have better missions than more appreciation for good missions because they are rare. I don't understand why you would have it any other way-

Nice special, I shall enjoy just chilling and not worrying about completing any of the missions, luckily for me I'm busy this weekend when all the kids are on. Off work on Monday, get in!
