Too bad I could not get that nice beta reward PzIV Hydro on PC instead of Blitz. Because I really suck at controling the tank with the iPad.

Fail! apple=exclusive,style over content.

Succeed! android=inclusive,broad reaching quality content.

Bring it out for Android and get a unified premium account for it and I'll play it.

Don't feel the need to buy an additonal premium account for my tablet game.

It looks that way but developing an iOS app is much simpler due to all devices containing the same hardware and software. Android requires an insane amount of testing, because what works on your Samsung doesn't work on your HTC and there are SO many devices, you'll be running updates and support like crazy to keep up with it.

The problem with Android is that it's simply a bit messy to begin with. There are pretty big differences between versions and most phones and tablets don't get updated; meaning you have to support not only a boatload of different devices but also different Android versions. Where each stupid device can have their own stupid videodrivers even. Making it a nightmare to develop for. So, for complex applications like WoT blitz people pick the easy way out and go iOS. Don't forget that the iOS development tools aren't very special, but the system is extremely limited and simplistic. Making developing easier too. Android is much more complex and has a terrible SDK. (Best SDK is obviously Microsoft's for WP and Win8 currently, but hey, marketshare too low and most Win8 tablets can run the normal WoT client anyway!)

Personally with the current state of iOS i'd be tempted to completely ignore it (In Europe and Asia obviously, only Japan and USA are markets where the phones have an interesting marketshare) when making an app, but since the tablets ARE more popular (by %) than the phones, when making a mostly tablet app like this. iOS first is the only sane way to go. And yes among gamers Android phones are even more popular than iOS phones; however this is not true for tablets; where this game seems to be aimed at the most.

Add to that that iOS device owners are more than ten times as likely to spend money on in app purchases than those that own an Android device... Everyone can see why from a financial point of view iOS is a nice choice.

Don't get me wrong here. I'm one of those people that will never buy an iOS device anymore (due to security issues, pricing, overrated hardware, annoying software and behavior of Apple) but I do understand how the appworld works and I hate to say this, but there is simply no other option than this. Unless Google at some point in time fixes Android's many flaws and finds a way to keep stuff updated and finds a way to unify app/game development among devices and OS versions, then things might change.

Honestly though, I'm hoping Windows Phone continues it's growth, as that brings best of both worlds together and adds a lot on top of that that neither of the other platforms could ever offer by design.

MATCHMAKER – complex matchmaking for balance and to suit players of all ability! Find your niche and hone your skills!

OUTSTANDING GRAPHICS AND EFFECTS – Feel every shell blast and bomb crater!

Any chance we can see this in WoT in the closest 5 years?

The MM right now is horrible, playing with terrible players ruins the experience for everyone.

Graphics are okay, but come on, we're using the ancient engine that is terrible.

I agree with some/most about this coming out on Android, that would be better.
