Hi all!

I'm currently in Berlin and have alot of daytime hours to kill while my wife is on a conferance. So I was wondering if anyone of you know any place in Berlin where I can play WoT? Like a internet/gaming café or something.

Greatful for any help.

Cheers!

You are in Berlin mate. Go drink some beers instead of playing WoT.

As someone from Berlin, I'd say, use that time to go outside, summer is the best time in that city.

Gamer cafes are rare these days, as are internet cafes. If you could tell me which district you are in, I might know a place to go to.

Indeed. I'm saving the beer-time for the evenings with my wife. It's actually kind of boring to be here alone and it's my fifth time here so I feel I have seen it all many times over. My hotel is right next to the Spittelmarkt U-Bahnstation. I have however spoiled myself with a 7-tage karte for all the zones so I'm rather mobile :)

Well, like I said, internet cafes are really rare these days. Around Spittelmarkt, there ain't any I know of and Mr.Google doesn't show any neither. If you go towards Kreuzberg however, there are a few around. Tho, most of them are run down iffy looking places.

Do you carry your laptop with you?

Yeah, that's all I've come up with so far. Surf-joints that are, like you said, iffy at best. No, no computer with me.

Then scratch the idea. After a change in laws a couple of years ago, game cafes have become almost extinct. I think there are some private clubs for games, but you need to be a proper member to be allowed inside.

If you were in Japan, I'd say just go to the nearest Media Cafe Popeye, I know those have WoT installed on all of their boxes. But in Berlin, Germany ...

You have to install the WoT client first and I don't think an internet café will allow downloads to their own machine. If you had your own computer that would be ok of course.

Have a look at WoT Blitz for your next trip as an alternative. It works on iPad2 rather then a laptop but might be what you are looking for on these occasions.

Yeah, I've been playing Blitz since soft launch, it's quite fun (It was my first encounter with WoT, I went from Blitz to original game. Go figure). Oh well, I guess I'll just have to resort to beer in the sun :( Thanks for your help guys!

A better choice anyhow. Since you're close to Spittelmarkt, have you been to the big beer garden inside Tiergarten? If no, go there, nice atmosphere, good beer and food ain't bad there either.

This. Hell, I'm getting thirsty just looking at that pic. Take it from their neighbour: the Germans know their beer.
