Double crew exp is nice but specials used to be special. This one really isn't (even though it is the biggest tanks battle in history).

Wake up WG EU!

Hmmm Greatest tank battle and we get week special, whats wrong with u?

I don't mean to be ungrateful but this is very poor special for such a great battle.

And as usal Muricans and Russkies get  better discounts and missions:sceptic:

Not good not good at all

Can I suggest that you plan in future to bring back the relevant Historical battles for the associated events.   You have a Kursk battle, it seems silly to to have it on for the event,

Even 18 battles for one day of premium was hard,30 wins in one day is close to impossible.

MMO community never ceases to amaze me...

So whenever a company offers X% discount, or a special that can be loosely converted into X% discount, they put the first nail into their own coffin. Because if they ever dare to offer another discount, if its less than X%, then all hell will break loose. The only way to avoid bankruptcy is to offer X+% discount until they reach 100%. (Offering X% again is no good. You can find countless posts that go like this "meh, we had the same thing last week, I wont play WoT this weekend, I'd rather risk getting sunlight than further encouraging this behavior!!!1111") At that point everything is free, and the servers close down the next day.

...

Such is the mindset of the forumwhores in every single online game. :teethhappy:

why am i not suprised? i so [edited] knew it will be like this = 2x crew is is nice yeah but this special hardly deserves to be called "special" in anyway... i do belive we have nearly same thing every week + in memory of battle of Kursk? somehow underwhelming

well whatever i will enjoy my 2x crew xp to the best what else to say

The only positive is the X2 Crew XP.

Specials are getting worse.  Hopefully August and Gamescom together with 16th Anniversary of WG will be good.

I think it's a nice well rounded special. Though I don't need any of those discounted vehicles anymore I'm sure many will be happy to get them disocunted, especially tier 8 Ferdinand :-P

Have fun guys

Sometimes i wonder if Wargaming EU is actively trying to alienate it's playerbase. I just fail to understand the stepchild treatment we are constantly receiving.

Thanks for the yet another extremely stupid "special".....it seems "WG" in Europe might have another meaning - "Without imaGination"

As i said in the thread about the last weekend special - its just a matter of x2 crew exp or x3 for the first victory...i dont even look at the other     [edited].

You're ignorance is astonishing, you fail to see that only one of these discounts is cash-related and the rest have minimal impact on game economy. Since from your analysis I figure you haven't had much experience on how economy works I'll break it down:

  • WG EU have two opposing interest when it comes to specials:
    • Increasing the quantity of players playing the game on weekend
    • Controlling the inflation

Those 150k credit missions were too much (even though everyone loved it), it was possible to earn way too much credits by playing tier X which was designed as a credit sinkhole, prem account and tanks sales probably slowed down and that's why WG rightfully decided to try a different approach.

Putting bankruptcy and weekend specials in the same sentence is ludicrous, that's probably not even a 0,001% of WG's income, also your percentages make no sense.

So before making such claims I would suggest you to read a fantastic book by Paul Samuelson and William Nordhaus called Economics:

http://en.wikipedia....omics_(textbook)

Maybe then you'll figure out how these things work.
