One question, should I use smooth ride or Off-Road Driving on my Bat, I'm on 2nd skill, thanks.

BC is pretty fast in a straight line anyways, accelerating niceley no matter the terrain.

The traverse speed is shitty for a fast tank, so you'd be better off with Clutch Braking than Off-Road Driving.

But since the aimtime and the dispersions are huge, Smooth Ride would be my first choice.

My BC crew looks like this:

Commander   >> Sixth Sense >>   Camo  >> BiA  >> Situational Awareness

Gunner          >> Snap Shot    >>   Camo  >> BiA  >> Repairs

Driver            >> Smooth Ride >>  Camo  >>  BiA  >> Repairs

But I'd reccomend you take Repairs as a third skill and then make the switch when you reach your fourth.

After a whole 3 games in this, I suck REAL bad. I'll have a look at the vids posted to get a better idea, but can anyone sum up? Apart from LTP, noob....  ;)

I basically get carried away that I have a drum to unload and get target fixation :/

TIA

You always have to have an escape plan when playing the batchat. Once you are reloading you are dead if you can't get away from the enemies. Playing the tank as an assassin is a very good idea but you have to make sure to be able to kill the target with your clip. Attacking multiple targets at once is usually a bad idea unless you can kill them all with your clip. Try to not spread your damage among the enemies too much, instead you should focus one target down at a time.

yeah its an epic tank - but only if you know how to play it. It can be very unforgiving and those not so blessed in the skills as others will stuggle to play it. The amount of times i've not damaged with one round in the clip and regretted it.

I sucked in this tank too. Much better now.  I love this tank now and have played it a lot lately.

My tips: Be focused. Dont play it if you are tired or unconcerned.

Dont be to agressive and act like Rambo and try to unload your clip every time. Conserve your health to mid/end-game.

Open maps is very fun. I have trained crew for max camo and view range, and use strong coffee consumable.  Skipped fire estinguisher.

I get a lot of spotted/assisted damage and I think its important to spot enemy before they see you because of no armour.

Map awareness is really important.    Use mobility to be where u are needed.

How to play it?

It depends:

for good players (i m not one)

They have the skill to enter battle early and go for pray by spotting on there own. They will hares the enemy without taking any suicidal actions. Later in game they will still be around and do the decisive kills.

for average joe (like me)

the bc is the perfect ambush tank. Stay out of trouble in the beginning for the bc shines in mid/late battle. So in the beginning I do only shots where I don't expose myself. At mid-battle I look for those isolated heavies or tds and i m having fun.

Just got 3 marks on it this week and its my favo medium in the game.

Its a very unique playstyle totally differend then others mediums.

Its a lot harder to play well then a 140 for example , but this tank just has insane carry potential and its just a joy to drive around in it.

I would suggest if you get it you get a crew with bia and use vents+vstab/optics and premium food because it really needs those things to get the gun handling a bit better

I have different problem, I don't want to play alone higher tiers tanks because I feel team is important in those battles. Getting low % annoys me a lot :(

Batignolles-Chatillon Char ( Tank ) 25t was actually built.

So it's not a "blueprint" tank! Okay?

Most high tier tanks in WoT have never even been built, nevermind seeing actual service in the Military.

I could make a huge list for you, but you can use Wargaming's wiki for it: at_Chatillon25t" style="background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0% 0%;">http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Tank:Bat_Chatillon25t

For example: from all ther tier 10 Heavy Tanks, the only ones that were actually built at some point were the Russian ones.

Tier X TDs that have been built..... NONE! ( the tier 9 Foch existed but not the 155 version )

etc etc etc

Hmmmhmm the Maus was bulild, even two of them and 5 in construction, one being even amunitioned and rumors are it even fought in Kummersdorf defending Berlin.

If you have doubts you may visit the Kublinka musem in Russia and wonder the Maus.

I enjoy the BC loads but I'm kinda meh in it.

I'm finding playing it like a giant LT seems to be the most consistent for me. As in I've got to go passive at the start then I get involved in the game more later.

For anyone who plays BC well, where does the early damage come from since you have zero armour and can't contest directly without spending all your HP early...
