We need the game to be able to fully support multiple cores first...I do hope and presume Havok will do that.

If anyone expects Havok will bring anything spectacular and/or performance increase, I'm afraid they might get disappointed. Its PHYSICS engine, not game engine. All it will do is antennas, ropes, chains, boxes and presumably tracks wobbling about when you move tank or get shot. Though option to collapse buildings is not excluded.

They're gonna [edited]it up anyway. I can't even begin to imagine what happens to the game when they finally implement it.

Actually, it should stabilize game performance. As far as i remember, havok will not run on the same core as the rest of the game, which means, computers with multiple cores will be able to run this easier. And no, i no longer believe that we will ever see havok in this game.

I guess WG puts as much effort into implementing HAVOK as they put into Server roaming

http://ftr.wot-news....08/08/8-8-2014/

 - tank balancing is made by 10 people (plus helpers), graphics are worked on by 3 people, model making is outsourced, moderators and support staff – 3000 people

When in "few thousands employees company" actual job of developing the game is done by like 30 people, it won't be anytime soon... And I guess "hire more" isn't exactly an option, as (belo)russian speaking and experienced coders/3d artists isn't as many as one would suspect.

And what makes you think that 30 people is not enough for developing the game? And what makes you think that its a "few thousands employees company" when some of the tasks are outsourced (as stated in your link)? We are only talking about development here, not marketing, controlling or accounting. If they really put more effort into HAVOK its because the return on investment is higher than server roaming.
