I have been flicking through a lot of old forum posts in the topic of playing WoT on a USB (which they all said yes you could) and how it should be 3.0 ideally but I could not find out what they recommended for memory size. How many GB does the USB need to be for me to play WoT? Also if I wanted to place to 2 games of similar size on it what would I need it to be? Any advice please.

Why would you ever do such a thing?

Bad idea, the files will load each one after each other instead of all together, so when you'll spawn you'll already be dead.

WOT is about 15 GB. The content in the updates folder is not required for the game to be run and can be deleted. I'm not sure if WOT or the other games require some registry values to run properly, but you'll figure it out when you try it on another PC. I suppose this is the purpose of doing this?

Buy an external hard drive. Ideally e-sata connection and if not possible then USB 3.0. bare in mind that even if you put WOT on your external you will still have some files on your OS file location. Having them read from 2 seperate drives.

The best situation is dont bother... if you must use an e-sata connection to an external SSD. failing that USB with a regular HD..

Not sure why you would want to do this....
