if you consider the removal of 1 shell from the WTaufE100 a nerf..then you clearly didn't play this tank at all..it was Very rare to use the 6th shell, so the only thing you done "in my opinion", you just removed an useless shell but buffed the reload time ( 52s )..i consider this a Buff

as for FV183, well yes, many players didn't have to proper aim for doing rolls of at least 600-1000 points of damage..aiming would just increase the chances of one-shot the enemy or to criple him to near-death..

The reload was nerfed in round 2 of the test to 58 secs .

Block Quote

. The firepower of the Waffenträger auf E 100 is sufficient to eliminate any opponent in its line of sight. In spite of this fact, it is very vulnerable and has a large hull with weak protection

Proof that the devs don't play their game. But maybe they are going by logic, I mean, who takes a giant and ridiculously armored chassis and puts on top of it a paper turret? Stronk German engineering, or should I say WG engineering?

Considering that developers dont play their product and they nerf-buffs vehicles by statistic(50%) ,the only logical changes is reduce AMX 50B aiming time.

LOL, either WG staff doesn't know their game or ...

FV4202 wasn't popular because it lacks propper +330mm pen HEAT sh.t and it doesn't have turret armor, that's quite stupid for a hull-down tank.

263-branch wasn't popular because of poor gun-angles but it simply lacks damage-per-shot, unlike 268-line.

And to call a 2 sec reload buff for WTE100 "a nerf" is just hilarious.

FV4202

Comparatively low battle efficiency and lack of distinct advantages (except for view range) made this tank quite unpopular among players. To change the situation, we have significantly increased its damage-per-minute value and improved the accuracy.

Can somebody confirm that accuracy (probably they mean dispersion) of FV4202 was actually buffed? There's only the rate of fire buff in the patch notes.

The base value is 58s. Your crew or consumables don't count.

There are hidden stats too - like spread after firing or time to start decreasing spread after stopping (notoriously known to be horrid for French guns) or value of spread on move. Any of these could've been buffed.

But aren't those stats referred to as bloom?

Actually, give me a sec, I can check via TankInspector

  1. 1. Even tanks with the thickest armour couldn’t survive HESH hits.
  2. 2. The high degree of penetration allowed players to not have to aim carefully– there was no need to aim at certain elements and weak points.

......

..

.

just what?

I might as well sell my FV and head for the Jgpze100

You haven't played it (for example on test server)? "Aim in general direction - shoot" If you don't hit spaced armour, you win the prize!

I enjoy the rate of fire buff to the FV4202 haven't notice any accuracy buffs, still some decent turret armor would be nice. but i not gonna complain admittedly the FV4202 is my first and only T10.

the FV251b 183 or as everyone calls it the deathstar (i like it) OK yes the premium HESH was completely over the top before the patch but WG seem to forgot to me is that the British TD and mediums don't get HEAT like every-other tank in the game apart form arty and the T9 and 10 British heavy's (if i remember correctly they still get APCR as premium ammo).

We get HE premium so instead we get better damage with i gonna say average pen now. though to come to think of it i do have a question while the 105mm L7A1 & the 120mm L1A1 cheap HESH rounds how comes they have better pen the the deathstar 183mm gun? admittedly the death-star gun has better splash radius while the 105 and 120 has better pen along with accuracy as well.

Why? FV has a turret and mobility. Just the fact that you consider the FV to be nothing but HESH/One-Shot-All determines that a nerf was rightful. More are a needed though...
