If no comments are needed, why start a thread? Are you drawing some kind of idiotic conclusion you think makes sense without even mentioning it?

You can't just add more coders to make coding faster. I would say that team of three is pretty okay size for graphics development. Also note that model making is outsourced so that graphics team is probably mostly just developing the graphics engine itself.

" tank balancing is made by 10 people (plus helpers)"

I wonder if they all play the waffle.

Graphics can mean anything (e.g. models), not necessarily programming.

The HD tank models are out sourced.

It says it right there in the article that model making is outsourced.

Why would I think if OP doesn't bother with it himself? He's obviously drawing some sort of conclusion here. If I had to guess it would be something like "hue hue thousands of people work support game must be crap" without realising any support department from any company needs a crapton of employees to answer all the stupid questions they get within a reasonable time. I guess such a realisation would be too much effort for the likes of you and OP.

By the way, it's pretty funny that a potato like yourself uses words like "think" when you seem to honestly believe premium account does anything to help win matches. :veryhappy:

Virgin Media only employed one engineer to set up my internet connection. I wonder how many support staff they have?

What about non-HD models, terrain, other textures, etc.?

I have no idea to be honest.

Given the number of totally OP vehicles in the game the thing that jumped out at me was the number ( 10 plus helpers ) of people that work or purport to work on tank balancing.

Judging by the rage posts here. 3000 in support is not enough.

I agree, but it really depends. If you have a tight small group of very competent software developers, it's very hard to add another person there and actually improve quality and output of the team. But in the long run if you can find talented people, it will pay off.

The problem with software development is real talent is very rare and if you have that kind of people working for you, they are worth their weight in gold.

What a silly comment. Its no like there is just 1 tank they have to make in HD? They can easily give each modeler one tank to design/texture.

And more programmers program faster than few, if you have a good working methodology (scrum for example) and source control. There are limits of course but in small numbers 1-6 their might not even be diminishing returns because people are specialised in different things so you can give people the tasks they are best at. In a team with few people you more often have to work on stuff you are not good at.

10 people on balance seems very weird though, it always takes so long to get OP tanks nerfed. And there also so much shitty tanks.

And how many of them would wish to work in Belarus ?
I personally would rather spend another year in Saudi Arabia dusting that crappy desert out of my pants and picking camel poo from my shoes

yeah and those 10 + helpers can't figure out in so many years that most soviet tanks and many usa are op - kv, kv-1s, kv-2, is3, st1, isu, hellcat, t29, t95, t110e3/4, all obj and many more :teethhappy:

probably those 3k that ruin the forums are cheaper than few good coders, this may be a reason why wot forums are so silly, it's such a stalin kind of policy, we can't do the coding but we can try to cheat as many players as possible and censor the forums as long as it is possible, when whole crap will be about to collapse wg will just disappear and use their stashed money in western countries to live with millions made on idiots, they will show u a finger then, guess which one
