Do you have to draw them on the paper first, then fold, cut and glue them into shape?

Will they provide templates / stencils to draw around, as I'm not very good at art?

They will need some damn good fire extinguishers then!!

Origame tanks game. Just download the plans, print off and play WT on your coffee table. ( no smoking allowed)

They already have paper tanks. What about the Panther II or the "Tiger II mit kwk 46"?

Doesn't exactly come as a surprise, considering the entire gameplay of WT relies on nothing but tanks shooting each other in a closed arena, they can't just rely on a dozen tanks or even a dozen tanks with 3 minor variants each. There's a reason WG have been putting so much effort into pumping out so many tanks, even making some from the ground up: the gameplay is very basic and most people just play to satisfy their drive to unlock new things.

For once I agree with you. This game would be very boring without all the different tank types. Pick the historical tank that has the best stats, join a game, kick everyone's arse and win the game. Rinse and repeat.

At least with all the different and varied tanks in this game, every tank has a weakness to a different tank. Whether it be many weaknesses or very few, there are always ways to beat your opponent. Now good luck killing that Tiger with a T-34 (1940) in WT.

In fairness WT does have its good points.

No invisible TDs (or enemies in general for that matter). No getting 1-shotted by arty before you can even see any enemies. Matchmaking isn't nearly as tough or complex and you've a fair chance of damaging/killing anyone you come across.

WT definitely feels more skill-based instead of being reliant on RNG and other factors.

Lack of variety of vehicles is about the only weakness...

This. The damage model in WT is still incredibly iffy. I've had times where I've put 15-20 rounds into a Pz. III F's crew compartment and turret with a T-50, without killing him out even though I must have knocked out every one of his crew members multiple times. At the same time he could put one round into my front and kill all the crew in my tank, or even worse, knock out the ammorack with a single hit. It's almost like there is a hitbox for every single item that fills the tank and it's just luck what you actually damage.

I probably need to mention that shooting into the same spot over and over again won't work in WT due to the different damage model.

And APCR has a chance of penetrating, then penetrate the other side of the tank without hardly doing any damage.

World of Tanks makes no difference in shells exept AP, HE and HEAT. HESH works the same way as HE.

APCR and HEAT carries less "material", meaning they do less damage if they hit in real life. WT has this, that's why you are scoring hit after hit, but not killing the actual tank.

In fact I consider WT to be more luck dependant than WoT... armor is not reliable in any way... I managed to oneshot a KV-1 with a gun, that I thought would not be able to penetrate it in any place... but the frustrated shot I fired on the move somehow made his turret fly...

No invisible enemies? Yeah, even in simulation mode enemies show up on the minimap... but it's even harder to find them, than a TD in WoT... you can park your TD in a bush and beat the crapout of all those noisy enemy tanks without them even having a clue about your position... and last but not least you can only scout to the front... enemies can and will sneak up behind and end up 50m behind you without you having noticed them... right now it's rarely important, because in the open terrains, there is too little cover to sneak up, but it will be "fun" when they introduce the first urban battlefields...

And about one-shot-arties: Well if I have to chose between catching a 200mm round in WoT and a 2000lb bomb in WT, I'd pick the arty round... not to mention that you can at least hide behind obstacles in WoT while a plane will just approach from the other side... and unless you have a competent AA truck nearby, a skilled pilot will put an end to your round without you having a chance to do something against it... most likely you will not have noticed until it's to late and you hear the bomb whizzing towards you.

So true and it's starting to piss me off in a big way.. As much as the RNG in WoT pisses me off the ammount of 1-shots in WT-GF is just rediculous.. You bassicly have a 50% chance of being 1 shotted by every hit you receive.. Same offcourse for every shot you do on enemies.. You die very fast in WT-GF way to many times, it's very unforgiving in that way.. Sure it might be more realistic, but is it more fun?

There's a reason why WoT is still way more popular.. Only thing GF has over it are graphics..
