I love my T-50 in a tier IV match it is like a Matilda in a tier I match but when I meet tier VII or tier VI I just go come on can't wargaming do so no Tier IV scouts get scout mm cuz I hate that tier IV scouts meet tier VIIs they can't do any thing against them.

You are supposed to spot enemy tanks and sometimes distract so that your higher tiers can kill them.

It is kinda hard cuz the A-20 has a better acceleration  and it is the one that gets regular mm and the T-50 bleeds of speed and don't have the view range to spot before you are spoted

T-50 needs to be restored to its former glory, i just keep it in my garage cuz it was the funniest tank ever once upon a time... and it's still my 2'nd most played tank i think even though i haven't played it since the nerf.. I've spent money on camouflages, emblems and crew, and now it serves as a museum-object in my garage! :izmena:

You and I are alike.  We both miss the T-50 and T-50-2 so badly.

It's a shadow of its former self. I got the T-50 not long before they nerfed it and only managed a couple of games before the fast skiddy little devil turned into a bloated slug.

I found it quite ironic that after the first 3 battles (got 1 tier 4, 1 tier 5, 1 tier 6) I thought "well, that's a crappy tier 4, but it's bearable, imagine if it had scout mm" and the next match I got was tier 7. Instantly quit and sold, guess I'll use one of the other lines to the T-34.

to the guy that said "you gotta scout with it": Good luck doing that with 330m viewrange, medium tank mobility and 110 GOLD pen, not to mention only a handful of maps are scoutable at all by a pure scout.

NO. IMHO the T-50 is the BEST tier 4 scout alongside the Luchs. Awesome 2 seconds reloading gun wich good pen., good mobility, bouncy armor and looks cool.

If you cant scout, then its not the tank's fault. Its yours.

I could really do with some advice how the hell should one use T-50 in a tier 7 battle. Everything around one-shots you, every light tank goes faster than you and sees farther, and there is no armour in the battlefield that VT-43 could pen. Drive around like mad, hoping to spot (before getting killed) something that your teammates haven't spotted yet? Or sit in a bush and hope for the same? Or sit on your w key and take another tank when the enevitable happens?

By the way, whatset of equipment would be most versatile for this thing? I installed vents without thinking, and coated optics and camo net seem to be wise choice, but I'm beginning to think that the only way to be of any use in tier 7 battles is passive scouting, and I'd love a 4th slot for binoculars. Something must go, but which of them?

No.  I'd take the A-20 over the present version of the T-50.  At least the A-20 has speed.

I can now officially announce that I am over the "loss" of the T-50 to the nerf.  The crew went on to better things and currently live in my LTTB in which I am getting sparkling results.  And My new Tier IV LT is the Luchs.

I sold mine into scrap metal because I'm totally hopeless with scout tanks. Now I have two unemployed Soviet light tank crews that are too good to dismiss, there is much commotion in the barracks, TD and medium crews cannot sleep and are performing sub-par. Dammit, WG, I want my money back!

I really enjoyed the T-50 despite it's harsh matchmaking, Aced it simply by running around, never got overly frustrated by it, but maybe that's to do with the fact that I expected little of it to begin with.

this tank was a beast before the nerf. I miss it. i had 1k battles with it and sometimes i made 9k spotting dmg for tier 10 battles. It was soo funny to look how a tier 4 changes the whole course of the tier 10 battle xD
