since 1.3.0.1, Mark of Excellence is no longer attached to the cone shape defined by <rayUp> in vehicle definition xml, but attached to gun vt surface directly.

That means gun vt must now contain the barrel too, otherwise MoE will be missing. This will cause a visual bug that any shot passed through barrel will leave behind a damage stick that will not recoil, but apparently WG think it's no big deal.

 

xml still controls projection center and decal size, but not the collision surface.

 

traditionally, gun bsp has only the mantlet model, not the barrel, specifically to avoid this visual bug.

 

vt scripts are updated for WoT V1.3+

[Installation]

  1. make sure UML V1.484+ is installed
  2. extract the wotmod file to mods/VERSION/
  3. start WoT, enter hangar.
  4. open UML config file (res_mods/VERSION/scripts/client/mods/ownModel.xml), look for config section <AG14_sdkfz234_2_puma>, which should be near the end of the file.
  5. Set the config accordingly (UML main topic[Configuration] section), for example
    • set <enabled> to true
    • make sure <swapNPC> is false to prevent other player's tank from being affected
    • make sure <useWhitelist> is true if you want to apply this remodel to certain tanks you're playing, instead of all tanks.
    • set <whitelist> to a list of standard tankenames, like <whitelist> A120_M48A5, A67_T57_58 </whitelist>

This remodel can only be applied to tracked and non-hydraulic tanks.

do NOT apply this remodel to an actual in-game wheeled vehicle.

anyone who can make Warthunder Tanks work in WoT? just noticed the Carro Armato L3 Conto Carro is in Warthunder.. could replace the TKS for all i know..

perhaps RazerTek think I won't bother to work on the tiny tankettes.

what's wrong with TKS? I like TKS.

 

i'd much prefer the larger ones, like bradley, type89, warriorIFV, AMX10RC, B1Centauro, sho't kal, etc.

 

but WG might have their own AMX10RC in a few months?

Nothing wrong with the TKS, its just that TKS and the French UE it is the only tankettes we have in WoT, and the TKS is the closest match to the Carro Armato L3

And what about LT-432? In my opinion this is a perfect tank to make T-64 related remodel, as it's one of it's prototypes. Especially now, when there's an IS-7 skin, that uses many modern russian vehicle parts, like for example additional turret armor, grenade launchers etc. Something like this comes to my mind, but unfortunately, i have zero experience etc. in making remodels.

is anyone aware is there are any reskins for the new grille 15 and bc25 Christmas styles wg released ?....if bc25 looks acceptable grille looks horrible with the red and yellow color scheme

I need some help !!

Hi friends and all others who like, as I do, "deh0mbre's nice remods !

As you can see, I am trying to rework/renew his remods to make them compatibel again after the patch 1.3.0.x !

Some of them are working fine with the normal new xml's, all the others have heavy issues or the game crashes without an updated/rewritten xml file.

In several cases I've tried to rework the xml's by myself, but I was lucky only with the "Jagdpanther III" remod for the "Kanonenjagdpanzer" !

In all other cases I failed. No wonder why, I'm only a skinner and my abilitys to konfigurate xml files is very restricted !

So here is the moment where your help is badly needed !

Is someone out there who want's to help me out with the updating/rewriting the badly needed xml files ??

Myself and all the other friends/fans of "deh0mbre's" work appreciate this !!

The relevant xmls files are inside the download links at wgmods.net

All remods without the UML extra funcionality are relevant. All other "renewed" remods you can find at  "deh0mbre's" main remod thread are working, the ones without a link are NOT working.

I could make a  zip or rare file with all needed xml's if someone of you want it to start the rework without looking out for all relevant xmls.

I hope, and not only myself, that one of you is willing to help to solve this problem.

OK i need to ask.. what do i need to edit to move the Clan logo?

i know first line is to move it sideways but what is up and down and back and forward?

Doesn't the first line do everything? It's been awhile since I bothered messing with that stuff but I'm pretty sure rayStart should be all you really need to edit, X Y Z Respectively.

Mirukii, may I ask you about the status of your Type 74 / STB-1 update? That is my favourite remodel from you and I would like to use the updated one (1.3) so badly.

The original STB-1 model is fine. No need to use the Type 74 anymore. It's not getting updated anymore.

STB-1's added ammo storage at the back of the turret looks quite annoying and the lack of infralight and that canvas covering both are some elements which makes it much less enjoyable to look at and exactly at that time when I finally could reach and buy it. :( Plus, Type 74 was in actual service.

Is there anybody who is able to rework the awesome remod for the german premium TD ScorpionG from "goodman12_"  that I have "renewed" that it should work with the "regular " Scorpion" TD  ?

I have made an exchange from the G Scropion into the regular one, cause I hate this clown camo of the "G" version. But now, my truly beloved goodman12_'s  remod do not work any more for my "new" regular Scorpion TD.

I would really appreciate if someone would rewrite the modell and xml files.......:honoring:

revived a very old remodel, challenger II

changed all shaders to HD ones, and texture accordingly.

One version uses the original green texture, the other is the desert variant made by 70599.

these two wotmod file conflict with each other, so only one of them can be activated at a given time.

These are released as wotmod model pack with embeded UML profile. Config and activation via UML is mandatory.

 

 

 

How to use:

1. place the extracted wotmod file into world_of_tanks\mods\%GAMEVERSION%
2. Install UML
3. After logged into hangar, edit UML config file (res_mods\%GAMEVERSION%\scripts\client\mods\ownModel.xml), look for profile header 'N10_challengerII'
4. Config and enable this header. Refer to UML readme/post for detail.

Hi there, I'd like to ask you guys for a bit of help;

I want to replace the gun barrel of the Standard B with the barrel from the Prog 65, but have no idea how to go about it.

Could somebody with experience maybe break down the process into steps for me to attempt?
