Hello tankers! :honoring:

I am back from the long pause with WOT, because update ruined WOWP. So I will do what I always wanted to do: make M22 appreciation topic. I will go over gameplay of this majestic tank, tips etc.

Gameplay:

M22 is very fun vehicle to drive and fight with and its excellent tank in almost all aspects, but it slightly lacks maneuverability. The armor is very good, front plate can bounce shots and its excellent against machine gun armored tanks. The back, however, is a magnet for any gun, as its angle is 90 degrees. The speed is excellent and only Pz. 1 C is faster. But acceleration and maneuverability is better than Pz. 1 C. The gun is good and damage and penetration are also very good. maneuverability is probably the only thing it lacks, but it isn't such big deal. The speed is crucial part of success. When the engine is damaged, you have to change your tactic, as you lose 50% of speed.

Tips:

Mount the improved suspension equipment, as it helps a lot, if you jump a lot. If you come in higher tier matches, you can be effective scout and try to kill artillery and spot as many enemies you can.

Pros and cons:

Pros:

+ very good gun

+ very good speed (64 km/h) and acceleration

+ good armor

+ frontal plate can bounce machine gun ammo and some guns pretty easily

Cons:

- poor maneuverability

- rear armor is almost useless

- when engine is damaged, 50% of the speed is lost, so you have to change your tactic

There you go. I hope you find my topic useful and rate it if you can. Also reply what do you think about Locust.

Have fun tankers and good luck on the battlefield! :honoring:

You forgot to talk about its incredible camo factor. :)
I have camo skill on it and it stays invisible even at close disance (especially good for passive scouting)

To the cons add limited ammo capacity.    You have to mind your spamming which you rarely do on US tanks.

Basically it's a really nicely balanced T3 scout with limited downsides.   I plan to give it a lot more play to train up the T37 commander.

I have to argue with limited spamming, it works pretty well :D

because wotreplays are not showing the medals :D

The best run I've had with this little thing so far ( even though I only had 10 games in it... )

Limited ammo isnt a big con. I only ran out of it once in 160 battles i had with it.

150 GPL/64%WR i have on it. WHich is great :-)

Aspects I dont appreaciate:

- No armor

- Low view range + tier 5 mm limits the scout role severely

- Sluggish on turns

- Overall the low tier live fast die fast nature of the game. which in tier 5 game is DIE FAST :-)

Only T-127 is superior to M22 in tier 3 premiums. (better tank with even better match make 3-4)
