As most of you probably know, the new light line(starting from chaffee) is coming in 9.3 update:

TIER 6: t37

TIER 7: M41 walker bulldog

TIER 8: t49 light

So my question is,are the chaffe owners going to get t37 because its basicly a chaffe now but with a bit more hp,and the chaffe now will be hardly nerfed but will get normal scout mm.

- there will be no free tanks in 9.3 (SS: as in, no free T37 or KV-1S/KV-85 both)

Because WG said so.

I think they mean a full branch. Three tanks are not a full line, even for scout tanks. The tier 4 and 5 scouts are already there.

I really wonder where the branch is going to start - I could start accumulating xp on something there :) I would totally love to get t49 light as it is going to be flawlessly trollish tank.

All these Chaffee-related tanks are obviously starting at Chaffee. Seriously, how did you not know this? We've been talking about the new lines and the Chaffee rebalance for months.

Also, the OP said it too.

A clip of 10, APCR as standard shell, 2 sec inclip reload, and 27 sec clip reload.

Did I copy the top speed of 74 km/h correctly?

My M24 Chaffee crew already filed a transfer form, another "Queen of Hearts" for me too.

Hopefully the hype around the T49 will be so great that most people will skip this little gem, so we can have her all to ourselves

Good thing I have my old Chaffee crew with 4 skill in reserve, just for this little tank. I'm guessing stab, optics, vents will be the standard, but dont know if we will get the ability to mount the rammer as well like the 59-16 can. Anyway looking forward to the new LT's

Isn't autoloader gun a stock one?

Here is screen from supertest and it doesn't say anything about autoloader.

Spoiler

Also, if you look closely on the M41 video posted on YouTube, gun barrel is different from the one on photos - http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/08/28/9-3-preview/ (it's M41, not T49 like stated on FTR).

Basically it looks like faster Chaffee with much better gun (like on T71, just without an autoloader).

Both stock and elite gun are the same. Just one has a 10-shell autoloader, and the other one has high RoF and better soft stats. They're both viable armament.

Oh I see. Good to hear - I'm not a fan of autoloaders. \

Have not seen any pics but the video.

Will your oppoennts be able to differentiate the one form the other?

Yeah, by the rate at which they're eating shells :glasses:

On a more serious note, from what I can tell, yes. I saw a video of the autoloaded gun and pictures of the top gun, and they have different muzzles. That said, most people won't be knowledgeable enough to tell the difference.
