Theres already a large thread discussing this matter, with photos of the unboxed kit and extras, in the general discussion section

I have not spent any money on this game yet since I refuse to pay for people raising my blood pressure by designing SPGs but I'm going to buy all four of those kits only question is Tiger or Chaffee first?

Same for me. No money. We are puppets and management above wants only money. Hellooo, we are people!

EDIT: OK, my reaction was quick maybe. Anyway, these models are for all men with big M. Every man is child forever. Models looking good... :-)

I love model making (I've built stuff from TOG II's to ME 262's) but I just cant stand Italeri products :P

Nice idea just not for me im afraid :P

Still, hopefully the selection will grow somewhat so there's something for everyone in the future :)

Yours

Puffs

Good looking kits - no Tamiya, but Italeri ain't too bad.

One thing; looking at the sprues for the Tiger, looks like it only comes with an 88 L/56 barrel - meaning if you really want to model the 'WOT' elite version you'll need an 88 L/71 barrel from a Tiger 2 kit or modify the one you've got.

Tsk, tsk.

Btw, any chance we can have a anorak smilie? :blinky:

Well the german ones are 10 euros more expensive but come with higher tier prems (and are probably bigger kits) and all the prem tanks are only avaidable in expensive packages, if at all. The chaffee comes with a t1e6, basically an improved version of the cunningham at t2. The tiger comes with the Pz b2, a captured version of the b1 that will only ever see t4 games. The ferdinand comes with a t5 french arty (the name ive forgotten) which I know nothing about. And the one that im going to get, the sherman, comes with the tetrach, a very capable t2 that can easily deal with t18s. Each set comes with a booklet on painting the WOT camo schemes and the paints needed (official WOT paints coming soon) and a chomprehensive decal sheet with some of the ingame embelems and inscriptions

Havent built any models for years I might give one a go depending on quality of their modeling.

Bad timing on the chaffee though since your redesigning its turret come 9.3

Could you please elaborate what you dislike in this product?

Glad to hear you like the kits.

Both Tiger and Chaffee look really cool once completed. So neither of them is a mistake.

If you are indifferent regarding the kit, maybe base your decision upon the code that comes with it? What in game tank would you like to get first.

We try very much to make our community happy.

We gave it a lot of thought how to transfer the best of WoT to these model kits, for your satisfaction. So no, we do not only want the money :(

Yeah, the Tiger comes with the standard, historical weaponry - 8.8 cm KwK 36 L/56.

We tried to optimize what you have in game, and the historical representation.

Therefore each model kit we have is based on the closest historical version of the vehicle that is present in World of Tanks, not the final World of Tanks vehicle.

Really depends on your preferences.

The codes are the following:

  • Pz. Kpfw B2 740 (f)
  • 105leFH18B2
  • T1E6
  • Tetrarch

If you want something in tier IV, go with the German kits.

If you want something more liberal, then you are looking at the US kits.

Kiddies. The developers and project managers made a great game, so they deserve to get a reward for their effort. This is the first online game I paid for.

Got my Sherman kit delivered this morning. Ordered it primarily for the Tetrarch since this seemed like the cheapest way I was going to get my hands on one. The kit might not be great but it will keep me occupied for a few hours when I need a break from WoT. Cool beans!

I got my Sherman yesterday and am personally very happy with the overal bundle and the quality of the kit :)

What im mostly looking forward to is the paint set and Himmilsdorf diorama coming soon:

Spoiler

Couple of questions I did have however:

1) Will we be seeing more waves of these kits?

2) Is there a possibility of fan favorites like the TOG, Lowe IS-6 and others that have previously not been touched in the 1:35 scale or by ordinary kit producers?

3) Would it be possible to consider some of Italeri's other existing kits such as the M3A1, Pz 38 (T) Ausf F, Jagdpanther and Leopard 1 as future World of Tank kit re-boxes?

The himmelsdorf diorama is just a rebox with a few extra decals, so dont expect anything special

These models should sell pretty well especially with them being associated with WOT:smile:  A KV-3 would be stunning looking and I won't be able to resist the temptation of parting with some pennies.
