Check out the newest edition of the special! This time, it’s the hard-hitting Chinese medium tanks.

Well done WG, the next bugged event. WZ-132 instead of T-32-2.

EDIT: Great WG, next stealth edit.

Perhaps it was intended to be the light line and not the medium line. As far as information was available it did say it would be from the light line not the medium. As if the mistake in the last weekend event wasn't fresh in memory enough.

Could someone from WG please check the details for the events prior to being posted? It looks insanely sloppy.

Or they could both on sale (WZ 132 and T-34-2). It wouldn't cost them anything -.- WG logic

Lol, most people grind a medium line via a medium line, not the light line. Why is there only a discount on the light line if both medium and light lines have the same two end-line vehicles?

Please include the discount on the T-34-2 as well as that is a route most people take.

I'm 60k exp from 121... should I buy it when the research is finished? Heard some people saying bad things about it lately. That it's possibly worse than 113. Both Chinese top tier are pretty rare to see. Guess they maybe are not a statpadder's material, yet is it worth the 4.5M? Atm I only have Maus as top tier and its horrible, I have to shoot premium ammo to at least deal some damage before i get heated by e100 or GW Tiger. Will 121 force me to the same tactic?

Not sure about that. Grinding the lights is a lot smoother since both are good and with the 132 there is basically no stock grind at all, or at least it does not feel like. With the mediums on the other hand the first one is really good while the T-34-2 is probably one of the worst tier 8 meds in the game.

Makes absolutely no sense why the WZ-132 gets the bonus instead of the T-34-2..

Not saying either tank is better/worse, but I have both tanks unlocked and my chinese medium crew is already trained for the T-34-2 (currently sitting in the Type 59), and my WZ-132 crew is in the Type 64. Why'd I grind the medium line with the light crew? It's set up completely different?

Guess I'll just buy the WZ-132 while it's at discount, but this is a good demonstration of WG how to piss off customers in a really silly and unnecessary way. :X

not really ... WZ line only goes to mediums, while T-34 go on mediums and also heavy line...

Well I don't know, the only drawback the T-34-2 seems to have is that the top gun (122mm) has worse penetration than the top 100mm which is a bit stupid. Overall they seem to do quite well when I meet them.

Currently at the T-34-1 myself.

Well I'm super chuffed as I'm grinding the WZ132 at the moment. So it's worked out great.

Finally 121! Just bought it and played one game. Those high roll damage shots over 500 are really nice :D. The gun handling is way better than in wz-120, even with 90% base crew skill.

We view things from a different angle then. You view them from the tech tree, I view them from a crews perspective. My crews level up with the tank from tier 1 to tier 10, and I play through all of them so by the time I hit tier 10 I have a decent experienced crew. My T-34-2 (which I havn't bought yet) crew sits at 88% fourth skill atm, for example. My WZ-132 (which I havn't bought yet) has a totally different layout of skills and will never step into the final two tanks of that line.

The only reason the T-34-2 is positioned where it is in the tech tree is because of the shortage of Chinese tanks. I would argue that looking at the tech tree to see routes is not the best perspective (compare with other nations, the ones with more tanks have more 'pure' lines, the only exception is the T57 USA-line). Since this game is XP-based where you "level up", it seems more logical to view from the crews perspective, no?

For a powergamer that skips tanks and goes straight lines to tier 10, yah sure, I can see where you come from. But from a leveling progressive point of view, no.
