My current pc is reasonably old, or at least I reckon it is.

And now the graphics card seems to have given up on me. I've fancied a new desktop for a while now,

so am looking for any recommendations that you may have.

It's primarily going to be used for online gaming, such as WoT, and others. Store some family photos, and do a bit of

writing on.

I'd like the best graphics card for my money, with the usual tweaks that can be expected from decent computers.

I'm looking to spend about £700.

I'd also like it to come with Windows 7...

..does anyone have a pc in mind that they have, or want, that I could consider.

I'm unsure as to whether you can post links as a reply, but if you can, please do.

Thanks guys.

Best advice I would give is to create an account on Toms Hardware and post this exact thread over there.
You will get much better advice.

Cheers. Papa.

But please don't let that reply stop others replying.

First off I dislike ATI and AMD, no particular reason, I've just always been satisfied with my Nvidia/Intel hardware so I'm going to suggest those.

For processor, i5 gives the best "bang for the buck" so to speak. Take something that's latest generation (number codes start with a 4xxx)

Graphics card you don't want to take the ultimate most expensive either but if it's an Nvidia card, Geforce GTX 760 (overclocked is better) or 770 is more than enough to crank up most games to max settings.

Here's some benchmarking for you: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

Don't buy PC!!! Build one, you will save a lot of money!

And for that price I would propably go for GTX 760, i5 4570 (but you will propaby need to buy better cooler, the stock one sucks) also don't underestimate importance of materboard and power supply, they are more important than you think!
