Why Junior Officer was introduced? According to table it has the same permissions as Private :amazed:  If more flexible/detailed structure is needed, clans already use TS permissions or other 3rd party solutions (and this change won't help reduce similar behaviour).

Best one is that only Commander can now manage Strongholds hehe

so good luck to all clan commanders since the so called Executive Officer cannot manage strongholds

this meaning commander needs to be online evry day to manage strongholds :P

I like the new ranks, however, I don't want the existing ones renamed.. will take forever to remember

Please make some of the other ranks able to manage the clan strongholds. Otherwise not only will the commander have to be on everyday, he will have to be available during specific hours too.

With regards to Junior Officers, whats the point, this position seems as useless as a lot of the new medals ribbons coming in with 9.3, seemingly introduced to make tomatoes think they have actually managed to achieve something at last.  At least you could actually fill a real rank gap, make it NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) instead of Junior Officers. With no extra roles this position is just for those with a complex.

I'm not happy with the new combat officer(old FC) position being able to manage clan ranks like treasurer, it essentially means an FC can now remove a treasurer and then appoint a mate potentially allowing for clan treasury's to be stolen.

I agree with the above commments about needing more than just commander to manage the stronghold's.

I hope that the "Personnel management (with the exception of the commander's, executive officer's and personal manager's positions)" line from the combat officer's list is missing the quartermaster/treasurer's position.

Intelligence Officer? I'm afraid that 99% of the players won't qualify for that position...

Dumb as a doorknob.

You're basically splitting recruiting into 2 posts which do not overlap at any point, meaning that you create the need for 2 staff members where before only one would suffice (or if you had two recruiters, they could co-operate and make their lives easier). Now however one guy has to be the "personnel officer" and one other the "recruitment officer" and their areas do not overlap at all ffs.

Executive officer for DepCom is the stupidest name I've ever heard. Plus seriously, removing the option for the DepCom to manage SH? Meaning that everyone must sit with their thumbs in their arses waiting for the Commander to do SH related stuff, like he has no life outside the game at all?

And what is the need for the awesome rank of "Junior Officer"? It doesn't have any added benefits over Private (anaother ridiculous name change btw, obvious why this is the case) so what, the only point of its existence is for some people to add a couple of inches to their virtual penises?

Seriously, did you guys even consider these changes or did you just think "oh yay, lets go do some random, unneeded, dumb and counter-intuitive changes just so we can say we are improving the game"? Jesus wept for frack's sake.

In order to improve clan management, as well as clarity in terms of positions, we have decided to introduce some changes to clan structures with Version 9.3

Block Quote

Junior Officer

  • Access to all information about the clan on the Global Map
  • Viewing clan’s treasury
  • Choosing players for battle in the Battle Room
  • Participating in battles on the Global Map
  • Organizing and participating in Skirmishes

Block Quote

Private

  • Access to all information about the clan on the Global Map
  • Viewing clan’s treasury
  • Choosing players for battle in the Battle Room
  • Participating in battles on the Global Map
  • Organizing and participating in Skirmishes

GG WG, you just aimed your own brain and missed , i wonder why:sceptic:

My guess is that they are preparing for some future roles that will separate those two, but it's a pretty far-fetched guess. Seems weird indeed.

Another silly idea. Why change what works perfectly today? The need for two people to recruit or the fact that DC's no longer can't manage SH is stupid [edited]

Do you think all those guys who protested when you first introduced SH that DC's couldn't manage SH have changed their mind all of a sudden?

Why on earth do you guys need to change stuffs just for the sake of it?

I would personally like to change it so that Combat Officer would also have the ability to Create/activate stronkhold bonuses.
