You were a good tank, we had fun together (300 matches) ... I will miss you.

I had 1400 matches in my T-50 before they nerfed it into oblivion.

I wanted a couple more games but I'm stuck in a hotel on a iffy connection so it wouldn't be right.  So the last battle wasn't special

But I did get to kill one more waffle (WT auf Pz. IV).

After 4.8k matches "Queen of Hearts" is dead.

Long live the "Queen of Hearts".

Unlike the T-50, T-50-2 or others the new  "Queen of Hearts" will offer:

  • good speed, even for active scouting
  • very good camo
  • best view range of LT5
  • precise gun
  • decent pen
  • low aim time
  • only LT5 with v-stab
  • credit earnings
  • +3 MM

Long live the "Queen of Hearts"!

I tried the new Tier V in the Test server, for me the worst thing about it is that on the move, even with stab and 3 skill crew, it can not hit an elefant at 50 mts. So you run but dont bother trying hurting anyone. I was looking for a new scout for skirmishes and I am thinking of the 59-16 or the Premium Type 64 to replace the Chaffee.

My CT server experience is quite different.

Sure you have trouble hitting, because ammo speed is different now and the CT server might not have the best ping for you either.

You could be right, I should give it a chance. I will buy the German Tier VIII this week and leave the Chaffee crew in the new Tier V tank to see how it works out. The T37 is a joke, how can they call it a light tank? It feels like a heavy, it is so slow. That one is a free xp sink.

I didn't want to pull the crew so I was happy to hear your opinion earlier.  The new lights will have new crews with a bit of speedtraining from the 4 us prem lights.

Am I the only one that feel in love with the new Chaffee on test? Sure the gun nerf is arguable. But that was good for sniping. Now you are a smaller target and the new speed and mobility makes it a great passive and active scout that can relocate fast to support or spot at a new location. And even a better flanker/harasser. You don't need the gun as the new gun on it is more then enough with the new mobility. I had no issues dancing around a Lowe and taking half its health away before I buggered off. The 9.2 Chaffee got a better gun the the T21 one tier higher. Now the gun will be better then what the other tier 5 scouts will offer still. Tho not better then its tier 6 scouts. The Chaffee got that gun due to the fact there was no high tier US scouts. It was the only one. Its not anymore. And there has been several additions of scouts since on each nation. Thus the need for the gun was gone. Tho its still has the same old +6 MM. It won't anymore. I have no issues with the low pen gun on the MT-25 or even the 103 on the Luchs that is also on the tier 5. So I did not have issues other then head on at a long distance. But close up and personal with the help of the mobility. The gun gets the job done. I personally love the new Chaffee and its new mobility. I will miss the top gun sure... but its well compensated for it on other areas.

When I was building model tanks when I was little the Chaffee was one of my favourite tanks and I was looking forward to grinding it in WOT, until I saw that horrendous butt ugly top turret. Left the tree for a while but I'm back at the M5 Stuart at the moment. S I've not experienced the marvel that was the old Chaffee, but looking forward to trying the new lower MM, faster Chaffee.

What happens to marks of excellence on tanks that get severe changes like the Chaffee? Also what happens to progress on the MoE because you will have played the last 100 (or X amount) of battles in its current state.

When you judge a tank, you have to compare it with the other tanks of the tier. The current Chaffe is practically a tier 6 tank, so you have to compare it with the T21, 56-16, MT-25, VK 28.01 and AMX 12 t. The new one is going to be tier 5, so it should be compared with the Leopard, ELC AMX and Crusader, not with what it was. Learn how to make proper reviews of tanks, people.

No not important in the grand scheme of things, but they were something I found interesting and a nice little side objective to keep some interest in playing.

Chaffee was my most driven tank for long time, but sadly scouting nerfs and T71 made me give up my old friend with funny head

Now to add insult to injury LT mission grind caused Crusader to become my most played tank... such sneaky brit, didn't even notice amount of games until chaffee lost his top position. But not too bad overall... Crusader has enuff chaffee in it to be worthy follower :glasses:

MoE level is attached to the vehicle, hence MoE level will remain, at least it was like that on CT server.

I agree with Azakow. Chaffee is hardly nerfed at all. Speed buff + reduced MM counter the nerfs it received.

But what will happen when you start playing it at a lower level because of it's reduced capabilities, will you have to play another 100 battles in it for the % to level out?
