So will Coffie get reduced research xp ? Becuse it sais nothing about it in the patch notes.

Yes, it will. And people who already researched it get 43k Exp refunded, though as tank-bound Exp and not Free. But you can spend 28k of it to immediately research T37, leaving you with 15k leftover.

This is not the end, only the beginning! Don't be sad!

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes... the Chaffee now fights Tier 4s!!!!

who those who have a creditcard just buy the chinese prem tier 6 light and be happy.

il say this the new chaffee is a true joy to drive, the smaller turret and better speed definitely fits my playstyle more of up close and extremely personal on the rear of your tank

I didn't like the old Chaffee so I stopped playing it after I unlocked all modules. To slow and to big/worse camo. It was my first top tier scout so it wasn't entirely the tanks fault. Anyway I'm looking foward to try it out in the next days. And now it faces not higher than tier 8, which is a rather relaxed tier.

the new chaffe goes 0-40 km/h instantly and it can reach with ease its top speed 80 km/h .

its gun is competitive at tier 6 and a monster at tier 5 . at tier 7-8 you must play as a scout (omg chaffee scouts ? :P) and you can harass the side/rear of your enemies . actually with this rof you eat them alive bit by bit :P

it has reduced MM and it can make money no problem even without premium .

all in all i find the new chaffee buffed in what defines a pure scout and nerfed in the most useless module of one .

that being said i am interested in bulldog and maybe t49 seems quite unique . but i will never sell my chaffee ;)

Pardon???

I can't penetrate a thing in it. i'm actually doing more damage with HEAT shells. (no premium for me). it's also very slow to accelerate in my opinion, worse going backwards and it's mobility isn't there either. Big wide drift turns are no good for circling avoiding getting hit. It scrubs speed when turning too.

It's a long way off clicking for me.

I have driven the new Tier V Chaffee for a week, it is not bad, the gun is not the best for Tier 6 & 7 tanks though.

I am grinding the Tier VI T37, I like it better than I thought, I found it very slow on the test server but it seems to drive better now, not sure why. I only have the second gun and it is good, the autoloader use it so maybe for Tier VI skirmishes is an option. But for random I think the single-shot top gun will work out better.

I too am one of those 'purists' who avoided the old Chaffee for its ridiculous turret. As soon as the patch was live I bought one.

I must say, I like it a lot, and I enjoy the historic look. So, I understand the sentiments of the old drivers, I say Hello and welcome little Chaffee!
