"Earn a total of 150 base capture points. Only battles won count."

Very, very bad idea. Please rethink this. 2 hours to complete this means you have to go for cap every chance you get. Personally I will most likely ignore this mission if I get it. But it will encourage bad play and ruin many good games.

When it comes to picking a reward for mission completed, it is highly unlikely that anyone will pick consumables.

I think it's highly unlikely that anyone will have an option to pick a type of reward.

Why? I think all of them are fairly nice, especially at higher levels. I guess the gold and prem will have a little lower chance to come, but I don't mind. 600k (+ other income) over 2 hours? Yes, please! 15k XP or crew XP in 2 hours? New tanks and skills are so close now!

I'd love to get 15k combat xp on my IS7 :D

or maybe i would want to save gold for premium tank, and I don't want 600k silver.

Yes rewards are good, but a choice is always better.

Looks like the 150 cappoints mission is the only blatantly bad one, def points would promote better gameplay but are dependant on enemy players decisions.

Further the missions that have to be completed in a row might be a bit irritating but doable.

The rest of the missions are very doable if not a bit easy for good players.

Since the higher tier Strongholds will be attackable, doesn't this mean that only the high end Clans will be able to keep and hold these things at high tiers?

Block Quote

The battle missions may be completed only on Tier VIII vehicles or higher

Block Quote

When activating the reserves produced by the War Department, you can receive the following tasks (chosen at random):

  • Fire at least 12 damaging shots and deal at least 4,000 damage points in a battle.
  • Deal 3,000 damage points in a battle from a distance of over 300 metres.
  • Deal at least 4,000 damage points, survive and win a battle 3 times.
  • Deal damage to at least 8 enemy tanks and win the battle.
  • Be in the top 3 players by the amount of damage dealt in battle 5 times.
  • Destroy a total of 7 Tier X enemy tanks over the course of 7 battles while driving a vehicle of Tier VIII or higher.
  • As a platoon deal a combined amount of at least 10,000 damage points over the course of 1 battle.

I wonder if they thought this through and there are some vehicle class limitations. Otherwise... no points for guessing which class might be seen by many players as the one suited most for the "win, survive, deal lots of damage from a distance" kind of missions I quoted above.

Spoiler

Yes, and that is very good like that. Why allow every bob clan in wot to get level 10 stronkhold buildings? Only hard work gets you good rewards

There are many clans and there's a cooldown for attacking the same clan.
I think the top clans will have top tiers first (active players, daily skirmishes and attacks)
Then it will be active clans (they will have some losses, but will make up for them with work)

And then slowly everyone else, once the above clans saturate enough that they don't have to attack a clan every day.

It might never happen, though (big prices for consumables), in which case it will balance some clans to lower levels, depending on their activity. I think it's hard to predict it precisely, though - this can be changed in game by changing (balancing) prices, though, so it's enough to just run it and accomodate for broken resource economy in case it proves broken.

So this war department creates mini missions? If so I'm totally down with that as long as the missions are achievable and wont really force us to change our play (apart from forcing me not to play as a tomato! )

Also do these 'legionaries' have to not be from other clans or can they be someone who just isn't in your clan?

Yet another half-baked idea. Thanks for making the game unplayable WG, have you not learned from this medium challenge BS that giving people goals like 'kill x-number of tanks' only leads to people sitting back hiding and not firing a single [edited]shot until there is a tank that is one shottable then all of a sudden 6 tanks decide they do have guns get the final shot in and then disappear behind the arty as fast as they appeared. The only mission you should run is deal the most damage to the enemy team, that's all that really counts here as you turned the capture the flag points off, on your capture the flag game. Here's an idea the kill should maybe go to whoever deals the most damage to the tank that dies rather than who took away the last 42hp, that way we might see people actually fighting, It could make arties actually hit high value targets rather than the targets that the rest of the teams regular tanks can oneshot too.

42HP tank can still kill three of your friends. It's only logical to try and finish him first before he shoots and does so...

I think the article is quite clear on that ("up to 5 players who aren’t affiliated to any clan"), but it's been also confirmed elsewhere:

Legionnaires: who are they and what role do they have?

Legionnaires are players without a clan. They may be invited to play skirmishes in your clan roster.

Can players from other clans be invited as Legionnaires?

No. Legionnaires are non-clan players.

How many Legionnaires can be invited to a roster?

Any division cannot have more than 5 Legionnaires.

What happens to the Industrial Resource farmed by Legionnaires per battle?

A legionary’s Industrial Resource is not charged to anyone, it disappears.
