T37 is (old) Chaffee. Just slightly faster, but less acceleration and turning.

What are you on about.

And I am starting to feel that the "old" chaffee was superior in terms of camo  compared to the T37. I could be wrong, but I have the feeling I am spotted more often and from further away then I was in my "old" chaffee. The gun on the T37 is superior then the one on the "old" chaffee though.

"old" because my chaffee was always making me feel quite young....

Encountered it a few times and its another scout. Nothing special and certainly not as agile as the chaffee WAS.

Smelly Pongo Buddy

I've been playing the T37 most of the weekend its a really good tank, I'm playing mine with the non-autoloading top gun,  as it fires every three seconds anyway... (mine does as its got my old 4 skill Hellcat crew in it).

One thing I've notices is the WN8 values for the tank are borked, as i've increased 20 points in my overall WN8, just from playing a light tank. I'll use that to get Green now as I'm not that far off it.

In contrast, it handles very like the Type-64 (which I'm crap in in) No difference in play style but seem to do better in the T37.... and at the moment, its a keeper.

Ceeb you raise a good point; what average values does the T37 use?  If we are to be stats junkies then we need to be careful what we play.

i.e. circa June 14 the average damage values for the WT auf E100 are increased by 200 ish, pushing the expected damage up to 2500ish. Next thing to happen is the tank is nerfed. So naturally your damage will lessen which accentuates the change to your WN8 score for that game. Whilst you used to get a score of 1700 WN8 for a game where you did 3000 damage. it is now harder to get that 3k damage AND if you do then that 3k damage will only get you a WN8 of say 1600.

Similar things will happen now since the changes to the FV304 in particular - yes great players will still do well in it but those of us that were just OK in it (WN8 1400) will now suffer from that nerf - therefore we dont play it again until they alter the expected values again. So if you knew, on release, what the expected values were of the new LTs you could estimate (only by hard stats) which would be the easiest to StatPad with.

which leads to my initial question - What are the expected values of the new LTs?

BTW - good to see you are back to your normal avatar

Just found them for all the new tanks on wotlabs site - just search for the tank you want.

Interestingly the expected damage for the T37 is only 474

Brownape,

No idea of the new values, but its very easy to get 1k+ damage in the T37.   Im not a fan of WN8 as I've seen soooooo many elite wankers players mouth off in chat at someones colour. But currently the T37 is a statpadders wet dream. To be honest, I'm new to lights and really bad in them. But enjoy them... and the T37 seems ok.

I cant perform in the Type-64 the same though, similar RoF, same size.

Oh, and someone complained about my Free Palestine Avatar hence its forced removal. :)

Now that is low.....and looking at my overall from the weekend means i'll hammer the crap out of this tank for the next week...... I'll keep it... but i'm looking forward to the Bulldog... And to be honest its made me to the 'Merican lights. as I want to do that entire line.

T37 is at 4k+ WN8 for me at the moment, it's a crazy tank. So much better than the other tier 6 lights, and I'm performing better in it than the old tier 7 lights which is just nuts.

Only 1st class for 1460xp base? Dem players must be shooting the golds with the bucket loads then.

I can agree that the T37 is a lot better than the Chaffee as it has the penetration to do damage and the HP to survive more than 1 hit from enemies. I'm sporting the autoloader and loving it :)

I'm currently LOVING the T37, had some free XP laying around and also had plenty of modules unlocked so i got to play it elite from the get-go. Good thing that i fully upgraded the M44....

If you have mobility problems, try 105 octane gasoline. It's a rocket with that.

This will be a stats padder. I also see a nerf coming. I outrunned a Is2 and killed it easly just by
circling around him.

But wow, i am gonna run this one for a long time so long i can because no doubt, this one
is the best scout i have ever played, and i have played most of theme.

Fun light tank. I love it. A lovely grind towards M41 Walker Bulldog

I have nothing to say about this tank other than it's a solid tank.

Not an inherently fun or spectacular tank(though the top gun without autoloader is pretty damn good), but as far as LTs goes, it's an enjoyable experience with no real downsides or major weaknesses.
I'll consider it a baseline for tier6 lights from now on.

If anyone is on the fence about the new LT branch, rest assured that the T37 won't be in any way a problem, or even a free XP sink. It's pretty good from the get-go.
