Wasn't it hard get to be on T-72 crew? Usually many end up in IFV or something like that.

well, nobody asked me.

There was only commander, gunner or driver to choose from. Well choose...? Told would be closer,  but i got what i wanted.  Everyone got chance to drive before the final crews were chosen.

We will have a schedule up by next week.  Sadly there won't be merchandise for sale that we can bring.   The first 150 players who signed up will get limited edition t-shirts and we will have some small goodies for everyone else that attends.

We hope to contact all 150 of the first sign ups via e-mail by the end of today.

There will be lot happening

There will be presentations on Stug III, T-34/85 and T-54. Also we have presentation on "tank unit in combat, Finnish method". Guided tours will be happening along the day on about hour intervals and Drive demo at about 12:00 and 14:00. We will be seeing the legendary Stug doing its thing.

BMP-1 rides will be held at nearby training grounds, which everyone who served in armoured brigade knows as "Leke". Oh, how much sweat, tears, blood and oil that area has swallowed...

Not yet, I grossly underestimated how much time it takes to take data from the forums and put in on Excel. Should by this afternoon.

I would say probably not as they have not updated the original thread yet. I would expect the task of reading the thread, extracting information, double and triple checking it, writing the emails etc. consuming a significant amount of time. Also, I would expect it to be tedious as well.

With that said, I can hardly contain myself with anticipation of possibly making it :izmena:

You can still attend, the 150 first people to sign up get free entry and a t-shirt and...no idea if anything else is involved. Apparently they still have something for everyone who attends though.

It would be well appreciated. Museum cafeteria must prepare for this large amount of visitors. And also when autum weekends are pretty quiet in museum so they may not have enough munkki, coffee, soft drinks etc.

So, please sign up although the 150 places have already been gone.
