Looks like the t-54 lightweigt has camo as a medium:

http://www.wotinfo.net/en/camouflage?country=all&vehicletype=lt&tier=8&showLines=30

These values are results of testing. Has WG messed up?

Edit: I'm talking about loosing camo value while moving.

There acually three posible source of error:

  • WG
  • the testers
  • the web site

its working as intended, t-54l is more mt than lt.

-has lower agility than lts

-has lower viewrange than lts

-has armor values of a mt.

-has the size of a mt.

-has hp closer to mts than lts.

so i guess cammo should be the same.

The deal with light vehicles is that the camo on the move and when stationary are the same. When it is not, then why is it a light tank...

It was suggested that it would be a premium medium, so perhaps WG forgot to change it when it turned out to be a light tank.

Not for all lights. Some of them do not have such bonus. For example AMX 13 series, Tier I-III LTs of all nations and T71 (possibly).

Correct. Exceptions are tier 1-3 (not all). AMX 40 and Valentine on tier 4.

For everybody else the camo stationary = camo moving, even with the Aufkläringspanzer Panther!

I agree that it is more similar to a medium tank, but when they call it a light I automatically presume that the above mentioned rule applies.

But it has MM of a lt, so it should have camo on the move of a lt.

Are you saying that AMX 13x and possible T71 have different camo when moving and stationary?

Please provide soruces.

I'm asking because all FR LT5+ have the same according to wotinfo.

The MM for a vehicle does not determine their camo attributes.

The camo attributes are a property of the vehicle and not the MM.

Sample: Ke-Ho

What it should and what it actually has is determined by the "balancers". It seems they have made a special decission on the T-54 LW

True, but the general rule (with no exceptions) has been that tanks who are considered scouts and get scout MM (From tier 4, note that several tanks on tier 4 eg. Ke-Ho, AMX 40 and Valentine has normal MM, http://wiki.wargamin...Matchmaker_(WoT)) has the ability to have the same camo stationary and on the move.

It looks like T-54 lightweight breaks this rule.

Yeah. There were plans to leave this feature only for scouts.
