Hi and hello to every one and all, this is my first ever post on this forum so sorry about that.

This thing here has gotten me curious because so many of the community seems to be in the opinion that M41 Bulldog is somehow op vehicle. So what i'm asking you off is to explain to me why you think that is the case after i point out few things about M41. Lets kick this off.

1) It can be penned by many of the tier 1 tanks with their stock gun.

2) It uses APCR as standard ammo but those only have 175 average penetration. Premium HEAT shells have better penetration but with the way HEAT ammo works you are better without anyway

3) It can get up to tier 10 matches and best it can get is tier 8 (for tier 7 vehicle)

4) It can afford to get max of 2 hits on average before it gets on critically low health and top tier artys need only to sneeze at it (even when on full health).

5) Any gun in the game from tier 5 on up can pen it with HE shells, it is a glass tank.

6) Speed, manuverability and stealth are the only protection this tank has, loose any one of those and you are dead.

Also comments like "one moment it was in front of me and then suddenly it came around hard cover to kill my tier 8 heavy from behind!" will be automatically ignored. If you get caught with your pants down Sonny Jim, you deserve all the suprise b***s-x you can get :3

In the hands of good player any tank is OP, have you ever considered that it might not be the tank that was OP in that match but simply just you?

Not OP at all.

It is a well-performing light tank. That's all. In my opinion light tanks need to perform according to their match making. I'm averaging about 1700 damage per game with the M41, which is about the same or less than I do with t8 mediums. Where's the overpowered part?

Actually I agree with that... since in WOT there is no real scouting, Lights need to be able to do damage and kills, they need to be Meds which have simply traded their armour for speed and almost no other changes....

The OP part is the whiners in heavies or TDs who you rape teh be-jesus out of and cry... omg you scout, you OP, you HAXXOR..!!

(Artillery don't count since they deserve a good banging...)

I'm at 1k average (nearly) but thats mainly because I still go and do stupid derp manouevres..

....like turning the TDs locking an alleyway down, rear end them with my full clip and assume my team will look, listen, realise and work together......

Yeah.. I know...I said "team"....

well, comparing him to other tier 7 scouts would be more appropriate I guess... And compared to them it's definitely somewhat OP imo, probably even if You took his autoloader gun away (unless all of those other tier 7 LTs are UP).

The only thing preventing him from being him ultimately OP are tunneled maps imo, but I'm expecting him not to be nerfed to hard thanks to all the YOLO rushers and campers trying to snipe out tier 10 HTs with it.

Yes, that's a valid argument. It's definitely much better than all the tier 7 scouts (LTTB aside). But then again, until 9.3 the tier 7 scouts have not really had a place in the game. WZ-131, AMX 13 75 and AFK Panther are all pretty much there just to fill the gap between t6 and t8.

And hopefully in WG.net's grand plan for LTs the older ones will be buffed to more competitive standards.

How can it be OP, it just that everything else is UP.

TBH its just WG TELLING us that the bulldog is the competitive tank for Team Battles in next patch, now that taking two Tier 7 tanks is a thing. I would love to see that thing nerfed into the ground, since i like my other light tanks. Wait a week till more realise take this tank into SH, even though its T7 it rapes; then everyone else will know the pain of this tank.

Like with any good vehicle it's only OP in the hands of a skilled player.

Unskilled lemming will get blasted to bits before they are halfway through emptying their first clip.

I love this vehicle but then again I'm a good player and do fairly well in it so far :)

The ease of gameplay is scary compared to other LT7/8. It rather feels like a fragile MT, than an LT.

It's by far the best tier 7 LT in the game but imo that doesn't make it over powered. Maybe it's just the first tier 4+ LT that's not under powered. You have to play it smart to not suck in it. That't why i don't think it's OP.

Leave it as it is, but make him T8.

For T7 it IS overpowered, especially the damage it can put out.

Not as overpowered as the T49, but still clearly OP.

Typical statement from soneome who hasn't played either. T49 is a bit troll, but if any of them are close to OP, its the M41
