Had battle yesterday earning 13,000 Exp, yes 13,000 in one battle - its only OP when you can run around end game and clip stuff out.

If anyone is interested here is the replay:

nah its only 1735 base - 2602 with premium. I have had a 1807 base result but didn't snap the replay. I made two mistakes in the game - auto-aimed the ST-I instead of aiming properly and missed a kill and bounced a shot off the Jagdtiger into friendly E50 at the end

But on a x5 thats kinda special

Yeah, I saw it was damage.

Still a very good result.

M24 Chaffee??  ELC AMX??  Both T5 and both seem to do quite well according to vbAddict.

What's the chances that the M41 will still be this much fun by the time I complete my grind to it?  Got 140+ battles in my Chaffee, 2 battles in my T37 and am very much looking forwards to getting my hands on the next in line.

Well, I got it, had it for around 150 games now, average win rate of 55% against a lifetime average of 49%  It's one of my highest average damage tanks, up there with the IS3!!

I don't actually think it is OP though.....  It just suits my play style, run around with my hair on fire, clip something, run away and hide.  If things aren't looking good fid an ambush spot, hit something 3 or 4 times and run away, find another ambush spot, rinse and repeat.

I recently got the LTTB, my average damage in that isn't quite as high, and my win rate is more like my average, but most of that is down to the ruddy awful gun depression and my inability to remember that this tank CAN NOT SHOOT DOWN HILL!!!

Hoping that the caps actually remind me about that little failing next time I take it out for a spin :)

I played it pre-nerf and now started playing it post nerf haven't even noticed a difference the thing is still OP as hell even in tier 10 games, at tier 10 you just play active scout a bit at the start then wait till you can catch lone tanks to harass or chase down other autloaders that are reloading at tier 8 and 9 the tank is just a joke how OP it is.

Basically the short time between shots allows you to empty a sizeable amount of your clip into tanks before they are reloaded and if the tanks already lost HP you can easily finish them before they reload, the tank has a tendency to get ammoracked and 1 shot especially if it runs into other tanks with clips as getting hit once after your ammorack was damaged in this tank seems to always equal a big explosion and your turret flying in the air but otherwise this tank has practically no negatives, it is nippy has amazing clip damage, reload isn't bad, the 175 pen is more then enough even at tier 10 (haven't fired a single premium round in the tank) because you have the speed to flank and get around behind targets or too their sides.

I wonder...

They "upped" the pen of the SU152 (which is even a tier lower and doesn't see tier 10) HEAT

But the T49 has the penetration values of the Shillelahg missile (150mm @ 60o (which isn't even @60degrees but at 0, in game))

Any reason why the T49 152mm should have such "historically unrealistic" pen values?

(They upped the SU's for "Historic Reasons")

In my opinion M41 Bulldog needs a nerf. Hell, it's more mobile than most Tier VIII light tanks and its most used gun is a 10rnd auto-loader, which is comparable to the guns at Tier VIII.

Along with that, the Tier VI-VIII AMX's could use some love and give them some buffs. Have fun trying to pen a Tier X from the side "or even rear" with 144mm of penetration and 135 damage (possible, but very tricky to do unless you're a wallet warrior; minimizing skill and maximizing damage with gold rounds).

it need big old fashionned nerf , its better than most tier 7-8 medium and heavy.

too much damages for its stealth speed accuracy on the move and its pen...

seriously compare it to other tier 7 and tier 8 and see how much of a joke it is, its op and unbalance every game its in.

It's balanced by its low HP and the fact it will get insta-ammoracked dead from full HP once every 15 games or so. HEAT pen is also a joke on it. And even though the autoloader is great, in many cases it will suffer because low alpha. The clip can only be used well in the late game and few Bulldogs survive to see late game.

I used to have an atrocious WR in my Bulldog for quite a while, but I brought it around the other side of the spectrum in my efforts to 3 mark it. Was quite frustrating to reach +94% three times... IMO they reduced the single-shot gun's reload speed a bit too much when they nerfed it, considering it can't mount a Rammer, thus making the autoloader the more obvious choice...

From personal experiences with and against the tank, if you catch someone off guard, which you will be doing, the tank is OP. The rest of the time you will be asking yourself "Should I reload or not?", because when you reload it is over half a minute of spotting or hiding. Also, the whole shooting cycle is long - 18 seconds of making yourself known, unless you pray to the RNG with the 0.4 accuracy. Managing the tank is not the most pleasant thing to do. Yeah, it can be broken in certain cases, but in the same time the long reload and shooting process keep it in line.

For now I am playing with the single shot, because it makes the tank battle-ready at all times and it is much more comfortable to play with.

If you want a nerf, what should it be? Seriously, most of the time it is all "Nerf, nerf nerf! It is OP!" and no "Tank needs to be rebalanced in the following way...".

I could say people can get a bit calmer if the autoloader got lower accuracy and/or worsened dispersion, similar to the AMX series, or get a smaller but faster autoloader. Second can make the tank more OP, though, caughtSkodaT25caught.
